Apollo in Epic is so fascinating to me. He knows he's in a musical; he's so nonchalant during God Games because he already knows how it's going to end; he's got one foot in the future and the other on the fourth wall. I remember seeing a show once where an oracle was cheerful all the time because, since she was constantly haunted by awful visions and nightmarish dreams, anything even remotely positive was worth celebrating. That's how I view Apollo here.

OMG, I SAW YOUR ANIMATIC ON YT AND IT WAS FREAKING 🤌, JUST AMAZING; I LOVE YOUR HERMES DESIGN SO MUCH. The direction you took with Hermes not showing his eyes in the fandom by giving him sunglasses that he stol- I mean borrowed drom troy XD (The Hermes and Jay series reference I suppose becouse of how he's dressed in the more futuristic style) and making his eyes in this different color, and the future visions showed, and the whole idea of the raft being built, I mean, it's so cool, and the Athena owl pin :,). I would have commented on YouTube if I wasn't under parental control but since I found ya here I just wanted to say, I really appreciate your work, it made me really happy and even more fixated on Hermes's character (he's my fav if you can't tell lol) (now just begging for Jorge to actually create the mini-saga of how Hermes gets the windbag especially if it got lost in the water apparently) i' definitely giving a follow and those designs are AMAAAAAAAZING~~~~. I can't wait to see more of your posts especially if epic/epic-related but I will definitely check out other stuff too <3

You know, one of my favourite things about Ryland Grace is how sociable he is. How easy it is for people to fall into his orbit. They show it time and time again. How much his students obviously love him, how he manages to hype up the dour suits whilst he's testing the astrophage, Carl playing with him in the Home Depot, the other government people eating his Skittles, Eva Stratt dragging him around everywhere and allowing herself to be just that little bit more vulnerable around him, Rocky and the Eridians embracing him as not just as a savior but family.

I know it's not explicit that Grace is aroace but so often, aroace people are portrayed as distant and independent and happily isolated. Sometimes even to the point of misanthropy. It's so nice to see a character like this who loves connecting with people. He's a rambler, he's excitable. So what if he doesn't have a family or a dog. He doesn't need them because he has everyone he meets and that's enough.

NATM headcanon that I'm 99% sure I've heard somewhere else but can't for the life of me find again: Kahmunrah wasn't kidding when he said he was half god on his mother's side. He and Ahkmenrah are the children of the Egyptian goddess of war/love, born when she was in her Sekhmet/Hathor form respectively.

Artemis & Apollo

I didn’t have a precise design in mind for Artemis, but all in all I’m happy with how she turned out. It took a few tries, but I ended up going with a short hairstyle. Besides seeming more practical, I liked the overall effect! Let’s not forget that these two little troublemakers, children of Leto, not only embody very different domains, but are both masters of archery and bringers of plague. ALSO I just gotta say that I LOVE the concept of God Games taking place in a coliseum with a bunch of gods and different creatures watching. Massive kudos to whoever had this idea, whether it was Jay or any of the artists that animated this song.

Not sure if I'll ever make God Games but I just had to doodle this concept that I love so much
