Summary: An idol AU with Sol! Very loosely inspired by Tamon's B-Side (I've only watched EP 1 at the time of writing this)
Warnings: Just your average Sol yandere tendencies. Nothing too crazy!
The setup...
Sol, who has a calm, cool, and even flirty persona as an idol. It's all an act, of course - but it's gained him many fans, including you, who admire him for both his charms and hard work in the industry.
He usually has a neater look, with his hair tied up or in braids and shiny, elegant clothing. But in the safety of his own home... Sol is actually pretty gloomy.
He wears his hair down, covering most of his face, wears baggy clothing and has piercings. He's a five star overthinker who believes he's lying to the entire world and is constantly getting second thoughts about continuing his work - that is, until you crash in, taking over for your family member who works for him as his part-time cleaner.
At first he's mortified, of course (he could handle an adult who has nothing to do with him, but you're around his age and might recognise who he is?!) And doesn't talk to you the entire time you're there as he stares at the wall and avoids speaking + eye contact.
But just as you're packing up and about to leave... you turn around at the exact time Sol pulls down his face mask to drink water, and freeze in your steps.
He looks like... a guy from your favourite idol group?!
Sol panics, you panic, it's a whole mess of you interrogating him and finding out that his usual personality is horribly introverted and gloomy compared to his onstage persona. But as someone who cheers for the entire idol unit... you're quick to argue back that 'Sol' is not a loser. In fact, he's brought joy to countless hearts across the world.
There was also a moment where you, like, bombarded him with fan chants to combat his anti-Sol mindset, so that was fun. He now knows his own fanchant (its floating around his head due to your intensity), isn't that great?
The progression...
As you continue to fill in for your relative (who's unable to do their usual job due to an injury), you continue to work as a cleaner for Sol's apartment. He was still avoiding you at first (like an anxious cat), but eventually your professionalism (not asking him about his work) allowed him to lower his guard a little. In fact, Sol starts to ask you about yourself.
You tell him little things, like what your part time job normally is, or what you're studying at college. Despite how mundane you think these are, Sol's amazed at the ease at which you handle social situations and obstacles. He admits that while he's used to idol work now, he's pretty useless when it comes to 'real life' application. And even then, he's always maintaining a persona at work; only his manager and group mates know how he really is.
As a way to cheer him up, you offer to bring dinner ingredients next time so that he can have a homecooked meal after idol training. Sol tries to say no at first since he feels like he'd be overstepping - but you insist, telling him its for taking such great care of 'Sol the Idol'.
Ba bump.
Sol looks forward to your next shift more than he cares to admit. He hasn't cooked anything for another person ever since he moved out of his mom's place... but when you appear with your groceries, he steps forward first, for the first time, and takes the bags from your hands.
You watch in a mix of awe and dumbfoundedness as Sol washes the ingredients and prepares to cut them up with the skill of a seasoned cook.
"Wait, I was supposed to be the one cooking for you-"
"It's my house, so I should be the host, right?" Sol looks over his shoulder. And for a moment, you see a glint of his stage-self as he gives you a small smile. "Just relax in the meantime, or do your usual work."
"...Yes, sir."
During the meal...
Your awkwardness was embarrassing, to say the least.
You were so used to being the 'extrovert' in comparison to Sol, that the moment he acted so... capable, even setting up the dining table and inviting you to sit - the cogs in your brain stopped working.
This is Sol's chair. And plate. And cutlery.
He cooked this. I watched him peel those potatoes and now--
"...Is the food not to your liking?"
Ah, and overthinking Sol is back. You rush to reassure him it's not that - you're just a little... surprised.
Not that he could cook or extended this kindness to you, but... in how he seemed comfortable enough to turn his back to you while cooking.
Toil, goes the bell
As Sol Brugmansia tendencies usually go... his moods are especially good whenever you're scheduled to come to his apartment for work. But also... after some time, he'd asked his high-school friend for help with researching you a little. Nothing like a background check (Sol trusts you with his life), but instead a harmless little list of the places you frequent and the class schedule you have.
While you may know of his hidden, private side, Sol is still hard to recognise when he's dressed specifically to disguise himself.
He's started to spend his time getting to know your schedule and favourite cafes. Sometimes he's lucky enough to spot you there and hear your voice. Hyugo says he should stop, but Sol can't help it - you're just so bright, that... he can't take the idea of anyone else being a witness to your smile.
He's greedy, he knows: you're already a fan of his, and you share a secret that ties you closer to him than anyone else. But...
Sol kind of wants you even more. Your time, your attention, your mind on him.
Just give him a week or so. He'll figure out how to make it happen naturally; you deserve nothing less than a fairytale, after all. And if Sol can convince the entire world that he's some sort of prince... surely he can also be that, for you.
Summary: In the days leading up to Halloween, you notice that something strange is in the air. Surely you're just imagining things, right?
Note: This is a Halloween themed, supernatural AU! You live in the city... and have caught the eye of a certain ghost.
Warnings: somewhat suggestive content, 18+ rating to be safe! Sol is a Yandere, being a general creep, and is implied to have drugged you, broken into your home, and hypnotized you to an extent. Reader is mentioned to have been drinking at a Halloween party. Please don’t read if you’re uncomfortable with these!
Wordcount: 1800+
It all started with a bang.
You’d thought someone broke into your apartment at first, when a sudden force shook your apartment walls and startled you out of your doomscrolling at night.
When you went into your living room to investigate, however—it turned out it was just a gust of wind. In your distracted state, you slammed your window shut and made sure to check that there were no footsteps or signs of human entry.
You neglected to realize that the hinges on the window frame were broken, destroyed by blunt force.
-
Five.
During your walks home, you’d stop by a new cafe if your wallet allowed it, trying a drink or slice of cake that caught your eye.
It was a small but effective way to lighten your week; romanticizing your life for a few hours before you had to get back to reality. Today, however… Something about the cafe you chose felt strange.
A chill clung to you despite how the interior was heated with comforting, yellow lights. And every time you put down your drink or leaned down to take a bite of cake… it almost felt as if someone was watching you—a sensation, or unwanted attention, brushing past your lips, or what you could have sworn was the air conditioning pushing your hair out of your face.
…Weird. It almost felt as if something was looming over you, blocking your view of the rest of the cafe.
-
Four. As you were sitting and reading on your phone at the park, a gust of wind sweeps past your legs, throwing up the hem of your shirt to expose your mid-drift.
You had gotten used to the odd weather by now; something about autumn and Halloween at the end of the month. But when your acquaintances spot you from afar and come to say hello, a chill crawls down your spine, and you can almost feel a weight pushing down on your neck.
As you tried your best to hold the conversation, your nerves get the best of you. You end up excusing yourself and beelining home—wondering if you’d over-exerted yourself lately.
Why does your body suddenly feel so heavy and flushed?
You step into your bathroom and run a hot shower. After a few moments, the sick, feverish sensations lift off your chest.
But unbeknownst to you, the closets in your bedroom are clinking. Draws open and shut, stealing away a few articles of clothing.
-
Three. You have a dream with a faceless man in it, but can’t recall his appearance or name.
It started innocently enough. He had saved you from group of men with torches, whisked you away to a cottage by the beach…
You were sure you ‘loved’ him, at least within the narrative. You spent days and nights cooking together, strolling through fields, and gazing at the stars while laying down on a blanket on the sand.
There was a scene with flowers, you remember, where you lazed on the grass with him and no words had to be exchanged. He gazed down at your, cupping your face with his palm, and…
Ding! You startle back to reality as your microwave calls. Trying to shake away the phantom sensations of his warm palms and hair tickling your chin, you leave your phone on the counter.
On it is a google search of flower types. You’d later identify the field you were in as brugmansias.
Angels Trumpets symbolize transformations and enchanting allure.
What you don’t remember is the mystery man’s ability to control the field of flowers; the scene shifting into glowing scarlet as his emotions bled into the scene.
You were on the brink of proper, pitch-black sleep, after all. And now that the moon was not able to hold him back, Sol cups your face with both hands, smiling down at you as a flower vine places a pill on your lips.
He kisses you with enough fervor to push it down your throat.
You’re his, his, his.
-
The clock strikes two when you’re at a Halloween party, tired and drunk out of your mind.
You don’t even recall drinking that much, to be honest—and remain unsure if you simply hallucinated a cute guy offering to dance.
He was wearing a mask, you think. And you exchanged only a few words before your memory grows fuzzy, and you wake up at home, showered and comfortably swaddled into bed.
You’ll need to text your friends and thank them for taking care of you; it seemed that you liked that masked man quite a bit, as you had a dream of being led through a graveyard by him, lured by the welcoming fondness in his eyes.
Or… maybe you didn’t imagine him after all? You must’ve had quite the wild night to have woken up with visible, purpling marks on your neck and down towards your arms.
As you inspect yourself in the mirror, you feel a blush crawling up your neck as a very obvious indent presses down the nape of your neck.
God, you can’t let anyone see this. You’ll figure out how this happened once you finish up your chores.
As you make yourself breakfast and sip on your drink, you come to wonder: did your apartment always smell like flowers?
-
One.
The night after Halloween is bathed in darkness as a breeze pushes up your window, and a phantom appears, as if hailing from the moon itself.
Unlike in the past, Sol’s feet hit the ground with a clink as he enters your apartment. He shuts the window, and slowly makes his way to your sleeping self.
“There you are, Pumpkin.” He smiles, unable to contain his joy as his weight causes your mattress to dip.
Ghosts aren’t supposed to interact with the human world at all—only able to move items like poltergeists if they died in a particular manner. However, with the month of Halloween such boundaries become blurred—and luckily for Sol, he’d discovered that it was possible for certain humans to see ghosts even beyond October, if they were binded together in some way.
Luckily for him, his resting place was one that blossomed with brugmansias. And on the night where you went to that Halloween party, he’d been able to appear in front of you by possessing a man—just long enough to lure you away from the busy streets, down a familiar path—and to the cathedral where he was buried, planting a flower petal on your tongue which grew from his grave.
It was sweet, seeing how pliant you were under the moonlight. Sol’s enchantments aside, he was certain that a part of you was always drawn to him—albeit unconsciously, and couldn’t help but extend the night by having a dance with you.
The vessel he’d chosen… Well, it would have to be disposed of, seeing that even if it was Sol’s own doing, this was another man who’d dared to lay his hands on you. But at least until the brugmansias had taken effect—Sol didn’t want to waste how beautiful you looked tonight. There was no living soul for miles away, and so he smiled as you gazed at him, movements trancelike, and imagined that you were simply two youths in love.
Your dance and stroll moved from the graveyard to the cathedral nearby. The moonlight streaming in through the windows fragmented from the stained glass; and Sol could imagine that this was your own version of a ceremony. A marriage between the living and the dead.
By the time you wake up the next day, he should finally be able to speak to and touch you. He’d be the only ghost you’re able to see. And even if the flower may wear off after a while, he can always just enchant you and feed it to you again, and again—as many times as required. It didn’t matter if no one else was aware of him, so long as he had you.
Sol would welcome you back home at the end of each day, brushing his hands against your shoulders as he helped you out of your day clothes. His fingers would run down your shoulders, wrap an arm around your waist as you settle down on the couch…
He’d lull you into the sweetest of dreams with his spells.
Sol just loves it when you stare at him with such hooded, hazy eyes; lips parted as he leans in close, so pliant as he tilts your head up by your chin, asking you to voice what you wanted, and hearing his name drip off your tongue.
God, he could hear you say his name forever. Again, and again, and again, until your body is slotted warmly against his, so soft and pressed against his chest with a sort of heat that makes him feel human again. —Like an actual lover as he lay beside you, sighing your name like a prayer as he swallows your lips in the comfort of your bed. With every fiber of his being resisting the urge to bite, and take, and consume.
…After all. Sol was already soaking in your attention during the day, even when you were spending time outside with friends.
He really loves the conflicted alarm in your eyes as he catches you alone. In the break room between work, or a quiet sidewalk that didn’t have passersby, yet:
“Come on, Pumpkin. Let me have a taste?”
”I’ll leave a little something for your friends to find.”
There’s something about you that makes Sol feel particularly voracious. As if he could feed on you for all of eternity and not feel satisfied.
But how could you blame him for being a little greedy? He was just a cold, hollow ghost.
So long as he does not take too large of a bite... Sol is sure that he could savor you for all of eternity. Whether it be in your apartment, where you had nowhere to hide—or while you’re talking to a stranger as his hands wander, and nuzzles his face into your neck.
He loves it when you aren’t able to take him off your mind. And even if you try to blame him, and say that he’s too much—all he has to do is grow teary-eyed as he falls to his knees, clinging to your thighs as he begs for you to accept him.
Please, you’re the only one he has. The only love he’ll ever know.
Just let him know how to make it better.
Either way, it always ends with him - reverent - drunkenly laid on top of your lap.
Summary: Different AU-setting scenarios with the Tokyo Debunker guys! Some are inspired by the missions that happened in the canon story, and some just by their character vibe.
Warnings: Not many direct spoilers, but I am borrowing some of the theming of the missions I've played/seen. Mentions of blood drinking in Edwards but he's a vampire... And mentions of stalking (influencer AU) in Sho's.
Characters: Edward, Leo, Sho, Jin, Taiga, Haku
Edward + Mysterious Butler
"Oh? Is the tea not to your liking, Master?"
You mutter something about how it's alright; just your appetite, only for an elegant face to appear in your view.
"Why, that won't do." Edward smiles serenely, too close for comfort. Then, leaning in to your ear: "I took quite a lot of blood from you last night. We can't have you fainting now, can we?"
Sometimes, you honestly wonder who's in charge here. You, the stranded Young Master of a fallen family, or the conspicuous 'butler' who's offered you his aid.
"...I'll finish the drink. Just leave me for a few hours to complete my paperwork." You try to ignore the burning sensation on your cheeks, shying away from Edward's form. Unsurprisingly, he follows. Tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear with a lingering touch.
"As you wish, Young Master. Your word is my command."
Leo + Influencer Relationship
"Come on now, sweetheart. No need to be so shy."
You try your best not to squirm as Leo pulls you closer by the waist, posing with a bright smile as the photobooth camera blinds you with a flash. Another picture, and another, before Leo takes a video of the collage editing process and prepares it for a post. 'Cutest photobooth ever! They say that highschool sweethearts who take a pic here are sure to have great luck!'
The sickeningly sweet caption is posted with swoosh on his phone, then, the real Leo greets you. A lazy, almost bored expression, as he leads you out of the store.
"What is it? Having second thoughts?"
You didn't expect him to ask you that; as if he truly cared how you felt. You'd agreed to help him stage a fake relationship on his socials so that his more rabid fans would back off from sending way too much fanmail to his address - or, in the event that they tried to do anything else, get reported. After which you can finally 'break up' and go back to your usual life.
But... Even if you're used to Leo's two-faced personality, it's still jarring whenever he suddenly brightens when you're in public, calling you pet names and buying you your favorite snacks and drinks.
Always act like someone's watching. You never know how far a stalker would go.
"...Don't move." Leo leans in close to you, fingers tilting up your chin. You notice that his head is angled so that no one could see your expressions from the left. "I saw a camera blinking. Don't say anything you wouldn't want to be gossiped about."
But in your made-up narrative, this is nothing more than an innocent, doting kiss. Leo leans away with a soft, gentle smile. And you can feel the nerves from both his situation and this starting to build.
Will you really be alright by the time this fake romance ends?
Sho + Highschool AU
"Hey, senpai," A familiar voice calls, smiling as you look up from tying your shoes. "Ready to go?"
"People are going to think you've got a crush on me if you keep this up." You laugh, ruffling Sho's hair. He protests at the action and grabs your wrist to stop you, before pausing, lingering, and finally letting go.
"Well, it doesn't matter what they think, as long as you're okay about walking with me." He shoves his hands into his pockets and matches your steps.
It's Sho's first year in highschool, while you're a year above him; you used to be close in middle school due to how Leo would always dump his 'vice president' errands onto Sho. As secretary of the student council back then, you always had the chance to chat with him and eventually learned that you lived in the same neighborhood.
Despite his semi-delinquent looks, you know for a fact that Sho's a good guy. He's helped you carry groceries and bags countless of times, and offered to wait for you if you were staying late after school to complete paperwork.
All in all, you believe that his popularity now that he's in highschool is well-warranted. The only thing is... You sometimes feel like he's being limited by spending time with you. You don't mind it, of course - but you aren't as active now as you were in middle-school. You spend most of your time studying in the library or helping out at home.
"Since when did I become friends with you because of stuff like that?" Sho had replied in the past. "I'm hangin' out with you because I want to, senpai. Don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise."
It's a shame... he could really make a significant other happy, with this amount of care and attention.
...Wait... could it be...?
Jin + Beach Outing
"You really ought to be more careful." Jin sighs, shifting your position in his arms - bridal carried - so that the Sun isn't glaring into your face. "Why would you go into the water without proper swimwear?"
"I kind of got dragged there against my will..." You weakly defend yourself, knowing full-well that if Jin caught onto the fact that you haven't put proper sunscreen on, you were going to be in for it. "Haru and Towa are really energetic, you know."
Jin's expression seems to sour at the sound of their names. "And did any of you think about what you'd do once your clothes got wet?"
"Well..."
Unexpectedly, you find yourself placed down on one of the beach chairs, and a large sheet of fabric falls over your legs.
"Just put that on."
Oh.
Not a towel. Jin's shirt. Loose enough to wear as a coat around your frame.
"Don't just stare with your mouth open. Help me put sunscreen on my back."
"Y-Yes! Hold on a moment!"
Taiga + Casino
"Place your bets."
You stare at the roulette wheel with your hands clenched. Everything about this place is too foreign; from the lowlights and sparkling furniture, to the expensive clothes on your back.
This is why you hate blind dates. Why did you even let that stupid-
"Black." A hand reaches over your shoulder, moving your chips.
Huh?
Before you know it, the wheel is spinning, and lo and behold... You've won.
The stranger who's saved your fumble huffs to himself, as if this was no surprise. Then, drags a chair over to slot it next to you, leaning close as if you're attending this casino event together - smelling faintly of smoke and whisky.
Wait... is this a stranger?
Why does it feel like you've met him before?
"Come on, kitten. You told me to stick close to you, remember?" Taiga leans in to whisper in your ear. "Now make a bet. Red, or black?"
...Mission... don't forget...
Why do you have a feeling that your bet is going to trigger more than just a roulette loss? (Distinctly, your subconscious is aware: your next words is the trigger between a Taiga who destroys the casino that stole your memories - or a longer night dancing in darkness, with unfamiliar steps and sights.)
Haku + Navigating the City's Cafes
"Open up, ahh..."
Haku barely contains his laugh at the embarrassed knit in your brow. When you told him you haven't visited the city in a while and missed the cafes - you didn't mean this!
"Just teleport me back to campus." You mutter, starting to push yourself away from the table. "If I'm lucky, no one's seen us, and I can-"
You feel your chair getting yoinked back in Haku's direction; pulled by him hooking his foot around one of its legs. The casual and effortless action just flusters you even more, and you lose the ability to speak.
What on earth-
"Say ah-" Haku continues, as if you hadn't just attempted to escape. His joking tone softens into a more familiar smile, slightly apologetic: "Sorry, sorry. I'll stop teasing you."
"You can't help it, huh?" You try not to pout, but it's hard when Haku's constantly making your heart skip and jump. This imbalance in power is way too unfair!
As you reach out to take the fork with cake from his hand, Haku smoothly swaps your grips - before pulling your hand, and the cake, to his mouth instead.
And in a second - it's gone. You can't decide if this is better or worse than being fed by him, when Haku licks some of the cake crumbs off his lips.
"Not too sweet." He comments, holding his chin. "But maybe I'll need a comparison to make sure."
...Why is he staring at your lips?
Summary: A very loose kpop demon hunters AU, where you're a demon hunter living in a city with the Chrysos Heirs - a group of the highest ranked demons living as different celebrities, feeding off the love of their fans.
Characters: Mydei, Anaxa, Phainon
Content warnings: Anaxa's role in this AU is very morally grey but that's because this is an AU where they're all demons who consume souls.
Mydei
A well-loved actor, Mydei is untouchable by those who do not work within the celebrity sphere - which is why many dedicated hunters also work as managers, idols, and more.
Being a celebrity yourself means that you're able to compete for the spotlight with said demons, making sure that their influence doesn't spread as wide as they'd like.
You, unfortunately, are only Mydei's newest manager. Meaning that you're too new to do anything risky, lest you get replaced in the blink of an eye. Yet if you do nothing at all, you'd be wasting the chance to sabotage his career from up close.
Doubly-unfortunately, you're really good at your job. And watching you get annoyed at your own effectiveness - making Mydei's life easier and career smooth - amuses him to no end.
He likes to tease, leaning in closer than he should to ask if you've fallen for him in some way. "While you and your hunters might not be able to lay a finger on me... I'm willing to extend the same protection for my beloved manager."
You left the office that day after pasting a long list of expletives on Mydei's door. He doesn't seem very threatened by the idea that a hunter is working so close to him - and has even grown to find your little bursts of repulsion cute.
After feelings do grow (naturally, when one spends enough time with another), you start to get conflicted about how you're used to quiet car rides and silences with Mydei, now. And even small acts of kindness as he gives you his umbrella and walks through the rain, knowing you'd get sick otherwise. Or cancelling an event despite his pushy sponsors, because he knows it'd be a nightmare to reschedule his whole day.
But a demon like him surely can't feel the same way humans do. That's what you convinced yourself. And for a demon that represents Strife - not because he spreads it, but because he was born from it... surely getting attached to the little manager who's now glued to his side is just another cruel twist of fate.
Anaxa
Honestly, being a model is only a side hustle for Anaxa, but it's where most of his followers cropped up. Anaxa doesn't even have his own social media - his entire online presence is run by his fans, most of which have to stalk the city's top university where he likes to visit - sometimes as an invited professor, other times just to cause academic uproar before leaving to his highrise penthouse again.
Anaxa usually uses his fame to lure in test subjects for his 'scientific research' (alchemic things regarding the life-power of souls, that only He's capable of as a demon). It's honestly seen as taboo by his own species, due to how Anaxa also experiments on demon souls (lower-ranked ones who are unfortunate enough to gain the Chrysos Heirs' ire and are dropped off at his doorstep as lab rats).
You are an idol whose manager has managed to plan a fake-dating relationship for, with Anaxa! (This is so that you have the chance to slay him, somehow. His company is unaware that he's a demon, all they know is that you have a 'heavy crush' on the guy and would only sign onto a large deal if they arranged this.)
Clearly he is very unhappy with the idea, as this deal involves him having to spend at least 5 hours with you per week. He tries to shake you off in multiple ways; from being rude to slamming the door in your face to ignoring you in public. But you just won't quit!
Of course, you're playing up the 'helplessly in love' bit to the max, hiding the fact that you're a hunter to the best of your ability until Anaxa gives up, and attempts to 'invite you over' to his place... He plans to simply get rid of you then and there - if not by the usual trick of taking your soul via your affection, then by other means.
After that night however, one could say that your relationship has 'truly' began.
Masks down, teeth bared - let the real games begin.
Phainon
A half-demon who grew up as a human in the countryside for most of his life, Phainon accidentally became an online influencer as he was posting about his adventures about moving to the big city.
He lives as a college student and has gained a reputation for being The Pretty Delivery Guy who works around the city. People love him for his softboy, golden retriever attitude. You think he's just another online celeb, until...
You exit your apartment complex one day just to run into Phainon, who you realize lives on your floor. And aside from his kind and otherwise natural greeting... something feels off about him.
It's only much later when you realize why. His hangouts with Mydeimos, the 'tattoos' along his arms and back.
But why hasn't he reacted to any of the anti-demon wardings you've put around your apartment, even when he delivered a package right to your door?
You seek to investigate this, only to find yourself in a bit of a predicament.
You've never met a demon so docile. And now that he's even helped you fight off a couple of his 'own kind,' the regular ones you're accustomed to hunting, and helped carry you back home without breaking a sweat - you hesitate.
"So you're... half demon?" You ask, watching as Phainon rummages around his living room cupboards for a first-aid kit. Why would he need that? Does he bleed the same as you do?
The way he patches up your wounds and looks up at you in concern makes your heart twinge. Why is he-? He looks like--
A puppy. A samoyed that's peering up at you with his eyebrows scrunched and apologising for dragging you into his mess, because he thinks that the hoard of enemies that cornered you earlier was somehow his fault instead of yours, the hunter's.
Ah. And he hasn't even questioned why you had weapons.
Is this the happy-go-lucky charm that his fans adored him for?
Summary: Genshin characters in a Zenless Zone Zero AU! This post doesn’t follow ZZZ’s plotline exactly, so there aren’t significant spoilers — but the contents do reference a lot of the worldbuilding so it’s easier to understand if you’ve played it before.
Note: The reader is in the role of the player-proxy!
The mysterious idol ‘Barbatos’ is an internet sensation who releases songs throughout the year, with an annual live concert that takes over the entire city of New Teyvat! It’s always on the anniversary of the city’s founding (new year), spreading wonder and hope across a night of twinkling stars.
Barbatos’ career started when Old Teyvat had just collapsed, as a small musician name that soothed many during a period of great change. What no one knows however, is that Barbatos is not one person… but two!
That’s right; it’s a role shared by Venti and Himmel (Nameless Bard, who is alive in this AU!) Due to their similar appearances, they often swap between songs in concerts and share the role of songwriting & mixing. Fans are aware that there are ‘two people’ to Barbatos, but have been pretty good about respecting their privacy (it helps that their agency, who liaise with the Knights of Favonius and Church, are vigilant about their safety, too.)
Despite having grown into a big brand, they’ve always stuck to composing their own songs and the personal values that fueled them in Old Teyvat’s fall. While Himmel prefers a quieter life of visiting videogame stores, trying the newest cafes, and managing their social media accounts — Venti’s more keen on socialising and is more of an ‘actor’ in early-New Teyvat development. He has the ability to go into Hollows, and sometimes does his own mysterious investigations as part of his cooperation with the other ‘Archons.’
Basically… Himmel’s a civilian, whose dream was actually to see the world (before said world collapsed during an apocalyptic incident), while Venti has a hidden side to him (growing combative abilities that can rival other high-ranking agents, though he hides it beneath a lighthearted, ‘helpless,’ tone). Venti’s goal is mostly to make Himmel’s wish come true; getting rid of the corrosion that’s eating away their world so that it can once again heal. And perhaps, if they’re lucky — the fields of cecilias and asters can bloom once again.
Venti’s chirpy and charismatic as always; you met when he commissioned you to help with a hollow visit ‘for artistic inspiration,’ and never learnt about its ‘true’ purpose despite feeling like there’s more than meets the eye. There is also the possibility that Venti just wanted to get his mind off something and blow off some steam, of course. Despite acting like a helpless civilian 80% of the way.
You only realize he’s Barbatos at the end of the quest (when you finally meet face-to-face), and Venti runs off seconds after, leaving you to process the cliffhanger alone. Eventually he does return to visit your videostore though, borrowing movies for ‘inspiration’ (it was actually for Himmel and his bodyguards).
He likes to butter you up with endearments like ‘my favourite proxy’ and ‘beloved fan,’ often hanging off your arm while he drags you around the city to explore the shops and such. He’s often undercover, and you get the feeling that he’s less interested in the places you go to, and more about running away from Himmel or Jean (their manager) whenever his mood isn’t the best.
You do meet Himmel at some point when he’s in the arcade causing a stir! (Beating all the highest records to claim a grand prize). You thought he was Venti at first before noticing their differences in demeanor, which immediately made Himmel adopt you as his companion for the day (their one similarity is their penchant for dragging you around. Albeit you can tell that Himmel actually is interested in the items he’s browsing in the stores, rather than having his mind wander elsewhere like Venti does. …It does make you wonder just how much is on his mind.)
However, you’ve always wondered about the logistics of them being Barbatos (does one write the songs and the other sing?), which was answered when Venti took part in a high-stakes mission with Jean and Diluc (the Mondstadt prologue team!), responding to your concern about his concert that night with ‘oh, no need to worry about that. I will still be performing, even if we’re in the hollow all night!’
It’s kind of impressive how Himmel and Venti can seamlessly copy each other, though. If you didn’t know either of them well enough, you could have certainly been fooled by watching back on the tapes of Himmel mimicking Venti’s upbeat, bubbly crowdwork (and tricked into situations where Himmel was trying to push you and Venti’s crushes on each other along, by leaving you voicemails asking you on a date from Venti’s phone. He is your number one shipper).
Wanderer
A hacker and ‘childhood friend’ of yours from the now-fallen Old Teyvat, Wanderer disappeared off the grid for a bit before reappearing as Nahida’s aide many years later when you were caught in a Bad Situation (your secret identity as the proxy ‘Viator’ was almost leaked to the press!)
After the fiasco (chasing down the people responsible, who turned out to be tied to the fall of Old Teyvat,) Wanderer moved in on the street where you lived to help ‘keep an eye on things’ (he was worried about you being in danger and wants to personally make sure you’re safe).
Despite how you’ve been separated for a while, your friendship resumed in a seamless manner as the both of you catch up on each other’s lives: Wanderer is working as a double agent right now who’s infiltrating the Fatui as ‘the Balladeer,’ while you’ve become a proxy to find out more about the fall of Old Teyvat (your previous home) and missing companion (Aether, Lumine, or both!)
While the both of you have high-stakes secret lives, Wanderer’s civilian cover-up is pretty simple. He runs a bangboo workshop for select customers (whoever doesn’t get on his nerves) and usually shuts himself into his apartment, but has established a new routine of visiting your store once a week; usually in inconspicuous clothing like a hoodie or such. If you don’t invite him to get lunch or dinner he will get huffy.
He likes to quip that ‘trying to appear normal’ is pointless due to the nature of your double lives. But you begin to help him (to Nahida’s joy) open up his world to more friends over time. They're usually his co-workers, who he avoids talking to more than necessary (because of his double agent work), but now that you're acquainted with them too he can't just let you wander off to meet them alone, right? He's affiliated with Nahida but you can never be too careful. (He'll never admit that he's a worrywart).
Wanderer does get a bit jealous whenever you hang out with agents, saying he doesn't know what the big deal is. ‘Being able to fight in hollows doesn't make them special.’ Because of this, you didn’t even know that he can work as an agent too — Wanderer just doesn’t do it often because after the Old Teyvat incident, half of his body had to be replaced with new metal parts (made of Nahida's new tech, rather than Raiden's), which he's still getting used to!
The first time you see him in the hollows is when someone dug up and tried to blackmail him with his past (ties to Raiden Ei). Naturally, you’re the only one he trusts to back him up (you knew vaguely about his family ties from your time in Old Teyvat, and the loss of his close friends during the city’s fall — the mechanics and metalsmiths (of Tatarasuna).
His story quest concludes with you calling for backup from Childe (one of the few Fatui who Wanderer’s begrudgingly okay with you being acquainted with). After they successfully escape, Childe drops Wanderer off at your video-store, saying that he’d probably want to see you the moment he wakes up.
‘Even when he wasn't able to move anymore… the only thing on his mind was making sure they wouldn’t target you, too.’
‘...He cares about you more than you think. But I guess you don't need me to tell you that.’
Xiao
The Adepti are a special operations unit that served under Zhongli after the fall of Old Teyvat, and are now begrudgingly affiliated under the Liyue Qixing (if Zhongli wasn’t still behind-the-scenes with them, they would've probably retired by now).
Now that things are peacefuller, most of the Adepti live as civilians and only go on field missions once in a while — save for Xiao, who’s one of the most active units and a workaholic to boot.
He has a fanbase (think like Section 6). While they've only seen him with his yaksha mask on, they’re convinced just from the way he walks and talks, that Xiao must be an incredibly attractive man. They aren’t wrong, but his co-workers tease him a lot for it, which he ignores as he disappears midway through news conferences and interviews, leaving it to his them instead.
You met during one of his missions, of course — and in true Miyabi fashion — Xiao was actually trying to arrest you and treated you as a potential enemy at first, due to your Proxy work.
But after you saved him in a hollow (purifying him of ether corrosion) and he saved you from Ethereals, you formed a reluctant alliance that turned into slow friendship after it was clarified that you were no longer on the Liyue Qixing's wanted list. On the contrary, you're now an ally!
You learn that during the fall of Old Teyvat, Xiao and the other yakshas were hit heavily by ether corrosion after spending an extended period of days in the hollows; most of them are fine now, but as Xiao took the brunt of it, he’s somewhat ill like Harumasa and has to be checked on by Baizhu regularly.
Though he often soldiers on and pretends he’s fine, his coworkers ask you to invite him out for lunch and errands so that he’d rest instead of training all the time. —It’s what everyone admires him for, but they’re just as concerned about how hard he is on himself.
You are one of the few people who he’d stop training for and take breaks with, if you ask. You think it’s because Xiao has the impression that you’re a workaholic too, and that by complying he’s helping you rest.
Xiao doesn’t see the point in engaging in civilian relationships because he considers his ether corrosion to be a deadline of sorts; before he’s unable to fight any longer, he wants to do his best to protect New Teyvat and eradicate the source of ‘evils’ — so that no one else is lost to the endless void.
Despite that, many people gravitate towards Xiao. You learn he actually has more friends than he lets on (Venti, Yelan, Keqing, Ganyu, Cloud Retainer and the other adepti, to name a few), and every time you run into them on your hangouts, Xiao almost seems… embarrassed?
You soon learn that this is because everyone knows that he has a soft spot for you and really wants to see Xiao acting all domestic (waiting outside your video-store because he arrived early, carrying your bags, walking to you immediately if he sees you…)
Xiao would rather eat cement than put on a show for them so he often ushers you away (as you can tell, the main angst in this AU is his corrosion since the other yakshas are alive. It's otherwise quite casual and fun!)
He is so obvious about his favouritism, though. The yakshas (basically his family) have been trying to invite you for dinner for the longest time, but Xiao is too wary of what kind of things they might ask you once you’re there.
When the dinner finally happens, though, you all hit it off! Bosacius teases Xiao, asking if what he was really worried about was sharing your attention, seeing as you’re now distracted on the side.
Of course, all Xiao gives in response is a little huff. "...What a ridiculous thought.”
Albedo
A clinic owner by day and scientist by night! Albedo specializes in treating non-regular people, like Thierens, those with machine parts, ether corrosion, and… your eye implants! (A unique ‘gadget’ you got from your old teacher.)
Albedo seems to be especially interested in you. He likes to test the limits of your ability to connect to your bangboo and notes that people often seem to be drawn to you. …As a proxy, of course. What’s putting that blush on your face?
Awful, awful. He’s way too flirty for a doctor, but you guess it's also your fault for befriending him outside of work. You had no idea what you were in for when you agreed to be his research partner; and after a few days of radio silence, you were suddenly called upon to ‘fetch’ Albedo from the hollows like it was just another Tuesday afternoon.
This becomes a normal occurrence quickly, due to Albedo’s inability to sit still when a theory comes to mind. He is also very unafraid of Ethereals and is immune to corrosion (as a homunculus,) which means that his reaction to you finding him is always a little smile (playing innocent), as if you’d just found him on an evening walk (how did he carry so many vials into the hollow? And are those bones???)
Only a handful of people would believe you if you told them about his hobbies, though. For the most part Albedo is an elusive, pretty face in the neighborhood who’s known for being a top-notch scientist. He often exchanges research with Baizhu and Tighnari, and Cyno and Xingqiu too?
The latter is more towards his art account online (Albedo went viral for his genius, ‘surely those who post art without captions are a different beast!’) As such, he’s able to bid his paintings off to fund his scientific endeavors. You tried becoming his ‘art agent’ for a function once and swore you’d never attempt it again, though. Art aficionados are terrifying…
Funny thing, by the way: when you first met Albedo, he was a villain to be reckoned with in your eyes, as the Knights of Favonius reached out to you with an urgent commission to catch a rogue scientist.
You were entirely convinced that Albedo was some kind of evil criminal until you finally caught him in the hollows — only for the knights to go ‘if you do this one more time we really won’t be able to cover for you!’
…Turns out, Albedo is affiliated with the knights, though he doesn’t work in their HQ and such. He is indeed a genius but has the tendency to use abnormal approaches, sometimes to the point of suspicion from other governmental bodies (meaning the Knights of Favonius have to sometimes cover his neck.)
Emotionally betrayed (from being led on) about the ‘dangerous, unpredictable individual’, you tried to leave right after you got your commission payment from the knights (this is Kaeya’s fault. Kaeya never clarified things because he thought it’d be funny. And then as you were chasing down Albedo, he also caught onto your misconception and played along. They’re both horrible!)
Albedo still likes to tease you about it these days, and in your early friendship he’d ‘act’ the part of a villain and stress you out with lines like ‘I don’t know, Proxy, will you be able to keep me in check?’ Or ‘You would know how unpredictable I can be.’
Or: ‘Don’t worry, you know my will is malleable to yours.’ ‘…And what about the law?’ ‘Well,, there is no emotional compulsion tying me to that.’
You know he’s a good person, but sometimes the way he looks at you from beneath his lashes does make your heart skip a beat. Out of stress, surely. Not… anything else.
Kazuha
Representing the Alcor in the Outer Ring as their duelist, Kazuha isn’t seen in the city very often due to his sensitivity to crowds and loud sounds.
The first time you met, however, was in the city's outskirts: he was escorting an important shipment and was taking a late-night break — and archons, Kazuha was so ethereal with his hair down and gazing up at the moon, that you thought he might’ve been a figment of your imagination.
You’re proven wrong a few days later when Heizou (renowned detective) asks if you can travel out to help the Alcor with a shipment task. They’re being targeted by rival groups as a large tournament is coming up; but Heizou feels like there’s more to this ‘competitiveness’ than meets the eye. Also… it’s the first year since Kazuha’s close friend, Tomo, was lost in an accident last year. So Heizou thinks your arrival would be a good distraction.
While your sense of direction mainly comes in navigating mazes, Kazuha shows you a different way of moving through the world. He’s able to find his way throughout the Outer Ring no matter where he’s dropped; ‘reading the wind’ with his senses, he says, while keeping you close to his side with fingers entwined.
Yeah. Kazuha’s a bit of a romantic, claiming that your second meeting must’ve been a work of fate; but you soon realize there might be something more meaningful in your interactions after learning about the burn marks on his hands.
While they're still recovering, the fact he tries to hold you close is a show of trust — and, a way for him to memorize your presence in case something urgent happens during the tournament. That way, he’d be able to rescue you even if smoke and thunder raged, muddling his other senses.
When said drama does occur during the night of the tournament (rogue groups attacking, xyz), you weren’t in the vicinity when Kazuha was fighting off foes. You do however rescue him from being surrounded by enemies, via grabbing and pulling him through a hollow rift by the hand. There, you helped the Alcor regroup and sort out their counter-attack, and Kazuha still hasn’t gotten over the moment your fingers wrapped around his skin; somehow, he did recognize your touch.
It’s ironic how his intentions to protect you concluded in the opposite; after the drama in the Outer Ring passes, you do encounter Kazuha quite often in the quieter parts of the city. Beidou has been sending him on errands more often ever since she noticed your friendship, and doesn’t want Kazuha to get all mopey from not seeing you for too long (he likes to send you pictures from his strolls around the Outer Ring though, of desert landscapes and orange sunsets that seem to consume the clouds.)
Kazuha also quite enjoys movie nights with you! He prefers this in the comfort of your living room rather than the cinema, since there’s less people (and it’s easier for him to double as a bodyguard for your store).
He reminds you that you’re more high-profile than you think, and to be careful because of the risks of your double life. Most importantly… he’ll always come to your rescue if you need it, be it through wind or storm. So don’t hesitate to contact him (he really can’t stomach the thought of losing another friend.)
People know of Kazuha as the cutie from the Outer Ring who hangs out with you often!! He also has friends in the city like Heizou, Kokomi, Gorou and etc, but they claim that he’s hard to get a hold of and disappears quite quickly. Which is strange considering how Kazuha often spends the night at your store’s guest room or couch after long movie marathons, or only departs reluctantly way later into the night.
Lyney
The Fatui’s House of Hearth deploys stealth agents of all kinds; Lyney and Lynette in particular are their best, able to disguise themselves in a myriad of ways and changing identities at the drop of a hat. It’s almost like magic, some might say.
To be honest, Lyney’s a little bit in love with the job since it also deals with surprising people with tricks — and while he and Lynette do street magic and small shows every now and then as civilians — it’s not their ‘job’ like it is in the canonical game. They're more active in the House of Hearth’s missions, especially as they’re one of the few with the ability to go into hollows and withstand their corrosion.
Therefore, Lyney’s love for magic is a little bit suppressed! They have to keep a low profile after all, since it’d be pretty easy to trace an amazing magician’s acts to his flamboyant mission escapes if he isn’t careful. So when you come along, well… You’re one of the few outsiders who know about both his lives. And that makes things special, because he can now excitedly show you the newest tricks he’s been practicing!! Both for missions and civilian shows.
You met when the House of Hearth needed a Proxy for a rather difficult mission; leading them through an undiscovered hollow and getting very stressed out because you thought they’d been cornered by Ethereals, only for the twins to… disappear?
Well, just for a second, so that they’d swap places with the Ethereals and were now the ones cornering them. The entire mission starts and ends with you only hearing Lyney and Lynette’s voice, and that was supposed to be it; until they decided you’d be worth befriending after hearing the concern and panic in your voice.
Lyney visits first, to make sure things are safe before giving Lynette the okay to drop by in the future (can’t be too careful!) He comes disguised as a regular customer before he then admits that you’re even cuter in real life — and that’s when you realize why he sounds so familiar!
Before you can blurt out his mission name however, Lyney puts a finger to his lips and reaches behind your ear… revealing a flower and envelope. You’ll later find that it’s a ticket to his and Lynette’s next big show!
Lyney departs with a little smile and thanks, and you never could’ve expected that his civilian appearance would look so… unassuming. (He doesn’t wear a hat when he doesn’t want to get noticed, and even has glasses!)
A few civilian hangouts later, you learn that he does need the glasses; it’s just that during missions and shows he wears contacts because of all the moving around. Lyney even jokes about buying a new pair that’s the same shade as your eyes, so that he can be reminded of you (they’re such an enchanting colour, I could gaze into the mirror all day!)
Lyney’s always appearing in different disguises and styles, but the look in his eyes and soft, familiar smile always helps you identify that it’s him. (In a later scenario, Lynette stoically says it’s the look of love, causing both you and her brother to turn tomato red.)
Your favourite hangouts have to be when Lyney is his ‘most genuine,’ or relaxed — when he drops by the video store around sunset or the evening — and the world is too busy in their own homes to worry about the phantom thief roosting at your door (a little bit like a cat wandering home. Though Lyney’s a lot chattier and willing to charm than any feline you’ve met.)
Summary: some headcanons about a reverse!au, where Sol's entire aesthetic is blonde-dyed hair and angelic, innocent eyes.
Warnings: implied drugging, yandere tendencies (TKATB), stalking, breaking into your home, eventual imprisonment, coercion?? and minor spoilers for the game events. Gender neutral reader but he dresses you in a skirt around the end.
Creative liberties are taken for this AU: where you and Sol used to be childhood friends that lived close to each other, and he used to be a simple boy with ebony hair and ruby eyes, who'd follow you around like your eyes held the stars within them.
The elderly would simply coo and say it was a sweet sort of puppy love, not knowing how seriously Sol would have retaliated behind your back if any other kids were to pick on you or try to take his place. Small accidents aren't unusual in your area, where youngsters become careless and slip into rivers or fall off the monkey bars...
But, knowing how such incidents would upset you, Sol never lets you see that side of himself, and instead melts into the kind, sweet, gentle boy you know whenever you're around him. He puts you first and lets you win at your favourite games, at your side like it's the most natural thing in the world.
To a bystander, he was akin to a raven watching over its heart's treasure - ready to claw and tear at the nearest threat. But things change when you lose your memories in an accident. And from there, Sol is convinced that this is some type of retribution for his tainted love - and paints his wings white for the next time he meets you.
The angel bleaches its locks and ties his hair. Strict; contained. Fashioning himself into a dove.
It works; because you are the loveliest of doves, and there is nothing stronger in Sol's heart than his need to be next to you, even if it takes a few white lies to earn your trust.
"Y/N! Let's play a game!"
Hopscotch - where you'd suddenly lose your balance and fall into Sol's arms. Or hide and seek - where he'd always pretend not to find you, so that you could enjoy the thrill of almost winning, before…
"Four, three, two… one."
When you 'first' meet Sol in college, it's when you wake up in the infirmary after a food fight in the cafeteria, having been hit in the head by a flying tray.
He was somewhat unrecognizable by then - with his hair dyed a sunflower yellow and exuding innocent-softness. He's helpful and doesn't pry too much into your life while he tends to your wounds - and the next thing you know, you're in art class and learn that he isn't actually the nurse, but an assistant. And that he has a habit of doodling cute things onto his skin beneath his sleeves.
Perhaps it's because you've been stressed about your home-situation lately, but you've been spending more time in the infirmary due to headaches, blurriness, and feelings of fatigue.
That, and you've been having the strangest dreams about a shadow wandering through your room at night. (Totally not because Sol has tampered with the food in your kitchen, so that he may come and go more leisurely and make sure you're alright.)
"How're you feeling today, Pumpkin?" Sol asks, clipboard in hand and a smile on his lips. But as he nudges the door to the infirmary closed and makes sure the windows aren't letting any wind in, you catch a glimpse of the papers he's holding and don't see any medical reports.
Drawings, maybe? And a few hearts encircling a name.
If it wasn't for the tracking device that's locked around your ankle, you might've been able to delude yourself into thinking that your stay at Sol's apartment was normal - that you'd chosen to come in here yourself, rather than waking up one day with no memory of how you got here - and that the Sol that's taking care of you now was the same, innocent nurse who comforted you on your first week. When you'd gotten overwhelmed by the new culture of your college and felt lost about your life.
Technically, you suppose Sol did make your life a little simplier, by giving you something much more pressing attend to.
A shiver runs down your spine as you feel a pair of arms wrap around your waist from behind you. Sol presses his smile against your neck, asking if there was something wrong.
"Is there something wrong with the pancakes?" He asks. And you try not to pay attention to the skirt that pools around your legs.
You'd woken up to a closet of clothes prepared in your size. And decorations around the bed that eerily match your childhood tastes.
You cover your mouth to stay silent in your hiding spot, feeling your heart race in your chest.
Warnings: None, this is just fluff, but TKATB does feature yandere content in gen!
"You... Want me to call you what?"
If looks could kill, you're sure you would've been six feet under already if you were anyone else suggesting such a thing to Sol. But instead of shutting you down with a searing glare, all he does is clutch onto the maid dress in front of him with a squeezing, painful grip, face blooming red as he turns silent.
"...Alright."
Huh?
"If I call you Master, that means that I'm yours, right?" Suddenly, his hand is brushing against yours and slides down your wrist, pulling you forward so that you're cupping his cheek. "You won't need other maids when you have me. I'll tend to your every need."
"T-Thats a little extreme." You squeak, not expecting your throwaway joke to have escalated into this. "I was just kidding, Hyugo was the one who said you'd find it funny if I-"
The world spins out from under you as a pair of arms wrap around your waist. In the blink of an eye you're lifted on Sol's lap instead of crosslegged on the storage room's floor, back pressed to his chest. He chuckles against your ear.
"Why are you talking about another person in front of me?" It's almost a whisper, how quietly Sol asks the question. "Even if Hyugo was the one who made this happen, I don't want him getting all the credit."
The maid dress you initially brought here is placed upon your lap, something between a suggestion and a threat.
"Your beloved maid needs a little motivation," Sol plants a fleeting kiss against your neck. "I want your thoughts and eyes to only stay on me."
Can you do that? He cranes his head to look at you, eyes darkening into a hypnotising shade of red.
Sunday x Reader scenario, childhood friends in a modern AU
Imagine falling for a boy who plays the violin to accompany his sister on the piano.
His sister is a renowned idol in the future, but only he's seen behind closed doors how much it took for her to get onto that stage.
These days, the boy is a successful corporate worker who's famous for other things. He rarely sees his sister's mask crack anymore. No one's seen his own mask falter.
You don't recognise Sunday when you finally meet him again, moving back to the capital city of Peacony 'where dreams are made.'
You reminisce about your childhood and high-school days, where even if Sunday and Robin always felt special, pretty, too dazzling to be your friends, they still felt human.
Robin still seems human when she greets you with a big hug and excited chat. Sunday..
You'd fallen for him when he was a boy looking out for his family, with soft smiles and comfortable silences shared as you walked together after school.
You're not sure if you know the Sunday before you now.
A girl who was living in the modern world, (Name) wakes up one day to find herself in the world of Teyvat.
As someone who learned about Teyvat's brief history and characters from playing the game, she'd thought that perhaps this was merely an elaborate fever-dream - that is, until days and weeks pass, and the physical exhaustion (Name) feels is very much real.
However... as she wanders through the depths of the Chasm without feeling much of its negative effects, (Name) begins to wonder just what her vessel is; she looked similar to her actual self, yet her eyes would sometimes hold the same glow as the luminous seelies near her. And her body feels like she's just awoken from a long, long nap.
Summary:
Name TBD. Based on the polls, my oc will be isekaied from the modern world, but into a vessel that may have ties to the dark sea!
As voted, she's going to be a hydro polearm character, who later travels around Teyvat on her own. (And maybe meet some characters... which you'll also get to vote for!)
Appearance
I'll figure out a visual ref later on, but for now I've decided that she has brown hair and grey eyes! Probably ties her hair in a half updo 🤔
And now...
But the polls don't end here! You can vote on a character concept for her!
pick a theme ✨️
hunting dogs (more combat oriented + hunting/to be hunted?)
little fox that steals/retrieves the stars (playful, but links to smtg bigger)
dolphin from another shore (compassionate and strives to make connections)
Voting ended onOct 31, 2023
The vote will mostly be for the "title theme", since I can always mix and match the bracketed ideas!
It'd be cool to think about when (Name) got isekaied too 🤔 Is it before or after the Traveller arrives? Might she meet the characters during a more crucial moment in their backstories? (Already cooking up ideas)
how abt clover and sunflower for the flop blondie gepard 🦅🦅🦅
Ask game here, open for Genshin's Sumeru, HSR, and OM Nightbringer!
🌻clover: what type of gifts do they like to get their s/o?
Gepard likes to gift you things he knows are foolproof, even if some might feel surprising coming from him because of his seemingly serious demeanor.
Particularly, flowers are his favorite to give as it really feels like he’s crafted it just for you (from his own hobby of gardening). They’re romantic even if they wilt, because then he’d have the excuse to regularly give you new bouquets. —What? Why’re you looking at him like that? No, he didn’t read this from a book somewhere. The idea was entirely his own!
(He discovered this after the first time he gave you flowers, and you mentioned that even though you tried your hardest, it seems that they don’t last forever when they’re cut already—so you made bookmarks out of them instead. Suffice to say Gepard was only more charmed by you from that day onwards.)
🌻sunflower: how would they confess their feelings to their crush?
He plans it out, looking for the right day where you’re both not too busy so that he can dedicate his focus to the perfect date (you don't know it's a romantic date)
But the confession that finally does happen does not go according to plan! Instead you’ve been getting a crisis because of the signals Gepard has been leaving, so when he texts you to meet him tomorrow morning at your usual place, you bite the bullet and go find him on his way home instead.
He’d meant to confess to you tomorrow morning because he’s just gone on patrol and wants to make himself more presentable for such an occasion, but instead you’re here, surprising him with your greeting and a smile that makes Gepard feel like you could draw out the Sun itself—and it’s sunset after a long day of patrol, and he just blurts out that god, he loves you.
The world stops; you processing his words, him also processing his words and worrying that he’s messed up—before you let out a laugh that just dazzles him from how happy you sound, relief slackening your shoulders as you tell Gepard that it’s alright: you’re just surprised.
Then in a softer tone, you confess your feelings too. The next few days it’s hard for Gepard to take the usual route home without recalling what happened, but it’s a nice type of reminder that causes a smile to grace his face.
Just thought I'd compile everything here so it's easy to access! My general writing/imagines tag will be #misu-writes
