First of all, Leo. That little gremlin will do anything for clout so obviously. If you catch him too quickly he'll complain you ruined his all of his plans and that you're no fun. He was most likely planning to milk this for a while before making some "Why am I no longer dating mc?" clickbait video.

I feel like Haru, Rui and Haku would do it for laughs/to show off they got married. Imagine someone asking them "omg I'm so sorry what happened?" And they go like "Ha you thought! She's my wife now~" just some funny drama (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Lastly I can imagine Alan and Jiro doing this kinda unintentionally? Like not really realizing/noticing how it sounded, not seeing that statement needs a proper follow up cause they're making people confused.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Leo’s last name connects him to a very specific type of con artist. But it turns out there are actually several terms for scammers in Japan, and they use a whole color-coded system.

Shirosagi (白詐欺 - White Swindler)

Definition: Scammers who target innocent citizens and ordinary people to steal their money.

Akasagi (赤詐欺 - Red Swindler)

Definition: Romance scammers who exploit people's feelings, using marriage or love traps to steal money.

And there is Leo's one:

Kurosagi (黒詐欺 - Black Swindler)

Definition: The ultimate con artists who exclusively target and trick other scammers.

they use their genius intellect and hacking skills to destroy the real bad guys and crooks. (Basically an anti-hero)

He is the total opposite of a bad guy, he acts like this just to protect himself and he doesn't trust people easily cause in the past they made him suffer so much.

I just hope that people will understand his character better and stop hating him so much🥹 he is so much more than a mean boy.

I like when characters aren't automatically nice to and protective of MC. It creates more interesting dynamics.

I think that's why I've always liked Leo. Even though he's lost some bite, he's still got some layered motivations I'd like to learn more about. I'm glad more people have warmed up to him over time.
