Yes, I know him. No, we're not the same person. He's a descendant of mine. It was a dumb idea, don't ask.

He's very loud and not that talented. I've tried teaching him some spells, but it takes him ages to even have a successful attempt. Even then, it's pathetic at best.

He has... potential. I am impressed that he was able to get so close to the royal family without bringing any negative attention to himself. We're cut from the same cloth in that regard. His motives were too selfless, though. Have NO idea where he got that from.

Music being imbued with magic is a very classic form of sorcery, and I believe he could go far with that. If he'd just practice a little more, he'd be a worthy ally. Until then, I'd rather keep an eye on things from afar. Don't want him to burst my eardrums, after all...

Do you have feelings for Zelda? You keep kidnapping her every time you Break free. Which probably means you might have a little crush on her.

No. She's a very interesting woman, I'll give her that much. Objectively attractive and extremely clever - honestly, a little scary at times. She's too smart for her own good, and it makes me wary. I turned her to stone the first time so she wouldn't find a way to escape while I prepared my little takeover. Because believe me, she would find a way.

Perhaps if things were different and she actually helped me rather than interfered with what I tried to do, we'd get along. Even if that were the case, though, I doubt I'd ever enjoy her company THAT much. Then again, I guess I can't say for sure.

I'm just gonna ask this now, how do you feel about being a super powerful wind mage that can literally turn people to stone? Is it a good feeling? Evil? Powerful? Or maybe even a feeling you can't explain?

Hm... How do I explain...?

It isn't about being evil. The things I do aren't solely about power, though that feels good, too. It's about the freedom of getting to do what I want. I am powerful enough to level Castle Town if I so desire. I can go anywhere and do anything I want, and there are very few people who can actually stop me. The sky is my home, and the clouds are where I rest. The winds are mine to do with as I please, and it's very freeing.

What more could I possibly ask for?

HELLO I LIVE HOW ARE YOU PEEPS OOPS I'VE BEEN GONE FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

I'm gonna try reviving this blog because it was a great idea tbh lmaoooo I missed posting on tumblr, and I have such a special love for Vaati. He's so interesting in the fact that we honestly don't know much about him! And I like trying to shape him into something more than a 2D angry grape villain lmao.

In the future, I have quite a few story ideas I want to write with Vaati being the main character. I've got a few VaaLink ideas which has me giddy because they're an interesting ship. I also have this OC who's a very adorable descendent of Vaati that I want to meet the OG Vaati and boom now he's a father figure to my smol OC boi lmaoo

IF ANYONE'S INTERESTED IN HEARING SOME OF THESE IDEAS, LEMME KNOW LMAO

in the meantime, I will continue answering questions as Vaati (maybe even as my OC if people want more info on him). HOWEVER, I don't think I'll be adding pictures to the answers - at least not for a while. It's just too much work, and I have WAY too many hobbies as it is. I just don't have the energy lmao. BUT BY ALL MEANS, ASK AWAY ABOUT ANYTHING. Give me interesting Vaati questions that make me think! I want to know exactly what makes him tick just as much as y'all, and it'll be fun to explore it together!

This has always wonder why do you call yourself the wind mage? Why the element Wind? There are tons of better elements that you could use, like fire (the best element) Shadow, electricity, heck even the water element is better then gust of wind. The ONLY reason you chose wind that I can think of is because you’re full of *chuckles* Hot air!

What made you want to become a mage in the first place? We’re you always interested in magic when you were a very smol picori? Heh I also really want to plait your hair!

I cannot remember when I was first interested in becoming a mage. The urge has been there for as long as I can remember, and it has only grown stronger with each passing day. I studied it for hours upon hours; sitting on the floor and reading every scroll I could get my hands on. I'd sometimes have to be reminded to eat. I have always been this dedicated to my craft. There was never any "ah-ha!" moment. I was simply born with this hunger for knowledge.

... And do not touch my hair with your grimy little mitts, lest you lose a finger.

So besides kidnapping princesses, fighting four identical hero’s and getting your ass beat and sealed into a magical sword, What do you do in your spare time?

I did not "get my ass beat", you impudent mongrel. My conquest of Hyrule has merely been delayed. Don't fret; everyone who has crossed me will get their dues in good time. You, now included.

Anyhow, what was the question? Oh, yes. I suppose there isn't very much to do at this point and time while I wait to strike the kingdom. I do a lot of reading now, much like I always have. None of that fictitious drivel, though. Spellbooks take up most of my time as I want to refine my skills. While I am extraordinarily powerful, I believe I can ascend much further. If I'm not reading up on magic, I skim through history texts just to see what humanity has been up to.

From what I've read, the world is quite boring without me.

I do not understand why I am being subjected to this strange and unusual torture. If I had my way, this ridiculous blog would not exist, and I would be off doing far more important things. Unfortunately, however, I am being given no choice.
