I didn’t “woobify” him, I am simply passionate about his character.
I acknowledge that what he did in making the time loop was wrong and selfish, if you had read the text at all, you would recognise that.
When I first replied to the original post, I didn’t think anything of it, it was kind of satire. The OP made the decision to throw me into the wall.
I said “do not engage further” because I did not want to be in the argument in the first place. Do not accuse me of what I am not guilty of.
I’m not ignoring his arc, in fact, I think I understand it better than you ever will because you both refuse to look at the facts.
I bet even if you people were fans of his character, you’d still mischaracterise him as like, some cold, black cat type, which he’s not. If you pay attention to the animation for even a moment, you know he’s not cold, just soft spoken.
take an actual, good, long, intelligent look at my perspective, and then come back to me with a reply that’s something other than “Fuck you, you’re just a dumbass who can’t even blah blah blah.”
My evidence is the show, if you don’t believe me, maybe pay attention to his and Jayce’s part of the story instead of just watching it for the girls plot.
And I know, I KNOW you’re gonna come at me like “omg misogynist” far from it, but unlike some people, I have the capacity to look at the characters, their motives, and their actions without bias and learn to respect them for their complexities.
I’m not shitting on Caitlyn, or Mel, or Ambessa, or any of them. I enjoy the show because every plot is amazingly written and tragic and beautiful. And each character is so intricate, even Isha.
If you wanna yell at me, fine. If you wanna call me a chud, or a misogynist, fine. I don’t care anymore.
