But I’ve been working on Direlands more recently. Battles look a lot different. And work on the campaign map has started. I’ll get back to posting more updates here.

Swapping weapons...
Rough implementation that needs more work, but you can now change between a character’s weapons.
New path display
A bunch of other small changes.
Armor
Started implementing an armor system. Pretty simple, just two slots. One for head and one for body.
Tile objects
Made some early progress in making the maps more interesting. I have a few ideas I haven’t gotten around to adding yet, but I think having obstacles and decorative tile objects is a start.
UI Work
Working on UI stuff. Got a turn order indicator and a few other things, all still rough around the edges.

Progress - Big Guys
I know I said AI was next, but I thought about adding multi-tile characters and decided it’d be better to try it before starting the AI.
Dungeon Thing
Made a bunch of small changes. Â Up next, AI.
Dungeon Crawler Thing
Made a lot of playability changes, mainly I combined the grid so attacks just happen where a character stands.  Hopefully it’s less confusing without everyone hopping all over the board so many times.  Also, figured I’d take the opportunity to try a different graphic style.
Land Grab
Remove your opponent’s front line, and you can steal that column from him.  Actual reasons to do soon.
Void-Com
Added a simple AI to this.  Also considering calling it ‘Void-Com’.  Still not 100% sure, though.
Polished this up a little bit...
Decided to drop the low res filter. Â It still needs a name.
Secret Side Project
Been working a bit on a small side project.  It’s a cyberpunk/sci-fi kinda dungeon crawler.  Should be playable soon, it’s much smaller in scope than Direlands.
Direlands - Squad Gear
So now you can give your squad leader different gear from the troops. Â This will be useful for other features I have in mind. Â Also, I added shields and different weapon stances.
Direlands - More Progress
So the squads are animated now.  A few other changes, like it’s harder to see tiles that are on higher ground.
