Patsy: You know, I’ve never been really close to anyone in my whole life. I alienated my mother, divorced my husband… It’s like I’ve aways kept the world at distance; built a wall of jokes and flippancy that no one could get past.

Cookie… For a little lizard-fish squirt with lasers for ears.  Fitting.  

Ah.  I know Strange— He’s a good fella, though I haven’t much seen him around lately.  I’ll have to keep an eye out.  Though generally when I need a physical, they send me to robotics.  The arm, you know.

Robotics? But what if the problem isn't the arm? I mean you don't have other robotic bits, do you? I guess you attract a whole different kind of crowd. Date a lot of girls who like ah- attachments?

Don’t know this Night Nurse lady… Or I guess it could be a fella.  Been running into a lot of hocus pocus myself lately, but I wouldn’t touch it.  I can hardly use an iPhone. What do I need to be mixing around with pulling quarters out of ears for?

Not so much... It does shoot high powered lasers out of it's eyes and tries to destroy everything the moment it's out of the jar. I named it Cookie.

The Night Nurse? Dr. Strange's nurse. She's wonderful. And if you ever need medical or mystic help they're the people to go to. Smart man, last then you need is a bunch of antlered polar bears chasing after you, believe me.

I saw a movie with a mermaid in it once and she didn’t look anything like that.  She sang songs with a fish and a crab and had red hair.  Real pretty.  

This thing kinda looks like something out of the blue lagoon.  You used up any of those wishes?

I know! I was bummed too. It is not a good payment for a job.

No way José. I see mystic, I fight mystic. But after doing this for a while, and being friends with the Night Nurse, I know way better than to fool around with mystic. That never turns out pretty.

I'd say so, I'm pretty sure everyone is a part time Avenger at this point. Hell my mermaid might even be one. As long as Irene, I mean Tony, doesn't send me back to Alaska I guess I shouldn't complain.
