Apple hosts the Hour of Code worldwide
Apple is going global again with the Hour of Code 2015! Next Thursday, all Apple retail stores around the world will host Hour of Code youth workshops to support the largest learning event in history for the third year.
Over 465 Apple Stores — from Shanghai to London to Sydney — will help introduce students to the power of coding with their first Hour of Code.
At Hour of Code workshops, students will take a first step towards building the next big thing, not just using it, as the company commits to expand access to computer science for young people everywhere.
Stores in cities including San Francisco, Chicago, Tokyo, Brussels, New York, and more, will host inspirational speaker events featuring developers, engineers, creators, and even Code.org’s founder Hadi Partovi in New York City, who will share behind the scenes of the Hour of Code movement, which has reached more than 100 million learners across 180 countries to date.
