[She barked out a laugh.] Fortunate for you, I don’t go anywhere without a blade or two and with a free arm, I could have gutted you. Easy.
Fortunate for me.. Yes, because being easily gutted is fortunate for the one being gutted.

[She barked out a laugh.] Fortunate for you, I don’t go anywhere without a blade or two and with a free arm, I could have gutted you. Easy.
Fortunate for me.. Yes, because being easily gutted is fortunate for the one being gutted.
[She growled at his grip on her wrist, turnign her sharp gaze on him.] I have the unfortunate luck to look incredibly similar to her but I assure you. I. Am. Not. Her.
My name is Cora. Cora Schneider.
[Cora Schneider. He'd never heard of her. She could be lying. But why lie to a man who was clearly going to be unstable around her. He narrowed his eyes and let go of her wrist.] Cora. [He sneered.] It is unfortunate. But fortunate that I kept my.. temper.
[Her eyes remained on the pair as they disappeared, her attention only being drawn to him when he spoke. Confusion overtook her, until she realised who he was, and who she seemed to be to him. Cora gritted her teeth, letting out a groan.] Don’t even think about it, I’ll break your arms before you can. [She quickly drained her glass and set it on the counter.] I’m not the whiny little bitch you had for a wife. Pity, I’m was starting to like your company. Now you’ve gone and ruined it. Have a nice life, mister gamemaker.
You-- [What? Wasn't? That couldn't be. That wasn't possible. How--] Wait! [He grabbed her wrist before she could leave.] Wait. What the fuck do you mean not-- you're-- you're her. You--
[She lifted her hand, pressing the back against her lips to muffle her laughter.] That’s what makes it so funny to watch.
[After the two got escorted out, Titus finally turned to her and he immediately froze. It was her. Her who he had regretted not killing back in Thirteen when he had the chance-- and by god did he have the chances.
His nostrils flared, his eyes narrowed. He was about to attack her-- but if he did, he'd be no better than those two that just left. Instead, he simply clutched his fist as tight as he could and spoke through gritted teeth.] What the hell are you doing here.
“I mean, that’s the reason he’ll never win, because he’s motivated by hate and the haters never win. I just think that’s true about life, because negative energy always costs in the end.” — Tom Hiddleston
[She followed his gaze, grinning.] Now that I would like to see.
[He waited until the big man noticed and it all went downhill from there. Accusing the man who was playing with him earlier of stealing his wallet. The man denying it. FIsts beginning to fly. Blood spraying the walls. It was hilarious, Titus trying to hold it in and failing.] Brutes. They never have the brains.
I’ll be leaving before then.
Don't be so quick to leave, now. There might actually be a fight. [He turned around, still not having seen her face yet (though her voice did sound familiar), and pointed to two men playing pool.] One of them's going to leave soon. When the two were off doing other things, I picked the big one's pocket and slid his wallet into the other man's. Big one's got anger issues when he's drunk. And he is.. definitely drunk tonight.
“Can this place get any more crowded?”
Actually, yes. There are still a few empty booths.
You're staring pretty hard.
"Hmm, interesting they named him you after him then."
"So, are you a Capitol boy? I’m from Two myself."
I'm not even sure they named me after him. I just thought of it as a coincidence.
Born and raised here, thank god. Two? Lovely district, I must say.
"You should be proud of your name, you were named after greatness. Titus was almost as good as tribute as me.’
"I wish I could’ve met him. Did your parents know him?"
Almost. He died, though. Shame. I don't think the Gamemakers at the time really liked the idea of a cannibal..
No, no they didn't. I don't even know who they supported that year.
"Hmm… I didn’t like his tie."
"And of course my games were the most exciting, I was the only cannibal there."
I'll be sure not to wear any offensive ties near you, then.
It's funny. I remember there being a Cannibal from Six one year. His name was Titus. I've always wondered if I was named after him.
"Eliminating the weak and defenseless is what I do. It’s natural selection. Haven’t you ever seen a predator before?"
"Not that I don’t love a good challenge. It’s what made my Games so fun. There is absolutely nothing better than when your prey fights back."
Oh, I've seen plenty.
I think your Games was one of the most exciting. Tell me, what did this-- man do to deserver this?
You seem angry.
Beating on a defenseless man like that. Tsk.
