This is an actual conversation I had yesterday on the boat dock.

Random Lady: OMG what a cute dog! What’s his name?

Me: Massimo

Random Lady: Matzo ball?

Me (slower): no. Massimo

Random Lady: Missmo? What’s that?

Me: No. Mass-i-mo.

Random Lady: Missimo?

My friend then chimed in: No. Massimo…Massimo

Random Lady: oh, I am sure you have a story for that one…(looks seriously confused)

Me: No, it’s an Italian name.

Random Lady: oh. Does he have a nickname?

Me: I call him Mo.

……she walks away

This type of conversation happens almost anytime someone asks him his name. It’s not that complicated people! And its original.
