Have you kept in touch with the members of the series?

Every time I come to Los Angeles, I visit Robin (his ex-partner Robin Tunney, editor’s note). We stayed extremely close. I also regularly see Bruno (the creator of Mentalist, Bruno Heller, ed). We work together on several projects. The Mentalist team continues to be part of my life.

Avez-vous gardé contact avec les membres de la série ?

À chaque fois que je viens à Los Angeles, je rends visite à Robin (son ex-partenaire Robin Tunney, ndlr). Nous sommes restés extrêmement proches. Je vois également régulièrement Bruno (le créateur de Mentalist, Bruno Heller, ndlr). Nous travaillons d'ailleurs ensemble sur plusieurs projets. L'équipe de Mentalist continue donc de faire partie de ma vie.

« Simon est comme un frère, il rend mon travail tellement facile. J'apprécie de l'avoir à mes côtés, il fait de moi une meilleure actrice et m'apprend beaucoup de choses. Il tient un rôle important dans ma vie. Il me surnomme sa “TV Wife” ! Je n'ai pas besoin de faire semblant avec lui, je le regarde et c'est réel. Quand vous êtes à la télévision depuis si longtemps, c'est agréable de ne plus avoir à jouer. Il rend tout facile, c'est un très bon acteur. Il est tellement bon, jour après jour. Je plaisante avec lui en disant que les acteurs australiens ont des chromosomes supplémentaires parce qu'il ne tombe jamais malade, n'est jamais fatigué et ne se plaint jamais. Les jours où j'ai envie de me plaindre, il me dit que je ne peux pas. Il a tellement de dialogues à apprendre et il est toujours aussi bon. C'est quelqu'un de vraiment génial. » Robin Tunney

“Simon is like a brother, so it makes my job easier. I like to have with me, he made me a better actress and teaches me a lot. It plays an important role in my life. He calls me his “TV Wife”! I do not need to pretend with him, I look and it’s real. When you’re on television for so long, it’s nice not to have to play. It makes it easy, it’s a very good actor. It is so good, day after day. I joke with him, saying that Australian players have extra chromosomes because he never gets sick, never tired and never complains. On days when I want to complain, he told me that I can not.
