North of Stormhaven, the forested fringes of Wrothgar rise to scrublands and tundra. Here, the swell of the wind is a muffled roar, lifting cloud in whorls and waves. It sighs through seas of undulating olive grasses, stirring up pollen into a blue-skied haze where feathers flutter like the thumbed pages of a book. Low warbling calls throb from the throats of ocean-cloaked crows, punctuated by the insistent staccato of hidden birds. There is the thrum of insect wings and lazy buzz of nectar thieves loop-the-looping in dappled patches. A woodpecker drums in the west.
Mushrooms, wreathed in the breath of beasts, nestle in rocky folds amidst dew-soaked turf where the watery sun fails to smile. Echatere grunt gratefully, scratching their tough-haired hide on boulders and splintered tree trunks. Squirrels squeak and pip, bounce and scrabble amidst the rustling of long grass and the rasp of meadow flowers, petals combed by rough-fingered, circling air.
Further east, the breeze twists and eddies with ice on its tongue: it brings the rush, rise and fall of distant ocean and the burble of furtive streams. In shaded creeks, nirnroot clangs its metallic song. Bronzed, dry wilds stretch to horizons, spattered with bright, hardy blossoms: rashes of crimson, flame-orange and yellow.
A hawk’s knife-like screech rends the flimsy fabric of sky – a wound then sutured by the plaintive, curling mewl of a buzzard. Further on thunders the laboured footfalls of mammoth: a hollow brass howl echoes as one falls heavily to a hunter.
Crickets pulse. The sun climbs.
Liers is ready to fight the vampires
Maelstrom Arena, Wrothgar: The Daedric Demiprince Fa-Nuit-Hen invited me into his bizarre otherworldly realm to do battle with his Barons’ creations. Nine challenges were faced, and although it wasn’t my khajiit who battled, it seems Argonians may too have nine lives…
The Bee, conqueror of all she sees, which she then turns into art. Kudos! ~Swan
Felt like introducing my character :)
This is Seraphine Liérsgarde (goes by Liers).
Seraphine comes from “seraph/seraphim” which is a type of angel, and Liérsgarde is a made up name meaning “Lightguard.”
I play her (or a variation of her) in every RPG I play, so her backstory changes a little depending on the world, but for the most part, she grew up as a priestess and later trained to become a paladin.
Her family consists of a long line of knights and other such heroes, though there are a few members from time to time who aren’t exactly on the light side of morality.
She fights using a mace and shield, and light magic. For the most part, she prefers not to kill, and will usually even heal a foe after battle, just enough that they don’t die. The only exception is when an enemy leaves her no other option.
Depending on the world she’s in, she’s usually a very religious person, though not to the point of forcing her views on others, as she keeps an open mind.
Sundas: a day for dungeoneers to work off the excesses of anniversary cake with a spot of exercise.
(We romped through Wayrest too quickly for me to get any shots!)

Taking up the mantle of Fizzonance, Bee does a great panorama ~Swan
New armour! So I decided to show it off by dyeing it based on a province of Tamriel! Out with the impractical robes, in with the shirt!
We have a new challenger for the sartorial crown. How will you answer this, Dom? ^^ ~Swan
Outtakes from the 1st Anniversary TMC Guild Shoot yesterday.
Thanks to everyone who had the time to come to our memorial shoot for the The Moving Castle 1st anniversary, whether they were new members or old, in-game from the start or just joined.
I hope you keep enjoying yourselves in the guild and in the game, my time with you has saved my sanity more than once. I apologise and am grateful to Dom and Bee for letting me abuse their sanity on occasion, especially.
The people in the photo are from left to right (as far as I know, not having fought together with everyone before this): Chaos, Sen, Drifter, Dom, Bee, Elit, Malcolm, Fyn and myself, Swan.
Bee is famous! Also, thanks to the Zenimax crew for the congratulations ^^

The Wilderking II
Snowy campsite
The waterfront at Abah’s Landing is teeming with life: much of it low, some law. Vendors hawk all manner of provisions and supplies; in shadows, others whisper of gewgaws and darkly glittering treasures.
The tang of spice - cardamom, nutmeg, sumac, cumin - spirals through the salt air on the tongue of an ocean breeze. A tangled assortment of lobster cages, buoys, and ropes coiled as adders poised to spring line the walkways.
There is the chink and slap of tossed coins, the plaintive shriek of circling gulls and chatter of iridescent oil-cloaked crows. A heron worries the water, dabbles and splatters before darting its stiletto beak forward and throwing back its head: a rainbow-scaled fish, still thrashing, slides down its gullet.
The toll of a distant tower bell sends rounded hours in bronzed ripples underneath the swelling cloud…

Another awesome Br’itsa music video, sharing the love for all things dwemer ^^. The main dungeon is from one of my favourite High Wrothgar quests, where you meet our old friend Neramo from DC.
P.S. apart from the editing, everything is from in-game. Her partner in crime just shows up with a full set of dwemer armor (heavy?), while she’s using her seductress skin. So basically if you want to look like this? You can ^^.
She should get a lot more renown for these, I think ~Swan.
Saturday had a small crossover between TMC and TotC, since Fyndord joined me in his DC character for the Imperial City zerg train. Good times were had by us.
