PCOS thoughts

After my first appointment with a gynaecologist (4 months ago), these are my opinions now:

The pill has its perks and some major cons.

Some perks have been: a regular cycle, not having such an oily complexion (it will never go away), and my hair is actually growing (it always stopped at my collarbones)! The cons though have been: a ravenous appetite (and weight gain), constant mood swings (especially the need to speak my mind), and depressive episodes where I just want to be left alone. 

I have an appointment next week to discuss what happens next but right now, this stupid pill is regulating my hormones and will potentially help my health in the future.  My parents are completely against me taking it (Catholic morals) but agree that if it helps, I need it.
