Humans are pretty prone to mimicking noises. like even subconsciously. sometimes we even unintentionally pick up entirely different accents. and you literally can't tell me you've never meowed or woofed or chirped back at a cat/dog/bird at least once in your life (unless you are physically/audibly unable to do so).
So Grace 1000% starts picking up and mimicking Eridian noises.
One day, Rocky will be working on something, only to freeze as he hears Grace behind him suddenly exclaim in fluent Eridian "SHIT!"
Turns out Eridian swear words are usually expressed in the same decibel that humans can whistle in.

Just realizing how much my day job effects my fencing.
I lifeguard and teach kids how to swim.
Today I was rapier fencing a clubmate, and we started grappling because. He start to fall and I caught him (we had no mats down).
AS I WAS HOLDING HIM, I was saying stuff like "I got you, you're not falling" and "I'm here, you're good" as if he was just drowning like one of my kids. We stayed there for a solid 30 seconds before we came to our senses and got out of the grapple.
The worst part is he is older than I am.
I ( a uni student) was telling a full grown adult that all is fine and I won't let you go.
I love waking up to the sound of bagpipes in town.
Genuinely gorgeous sound.
And when I do it, all I get annoyed looks and questions about why I am playing thunderstruck outside at 4 am.

So we decided to test my old hema mask from 10+ years ago.
We hit it with
3 arrows from a 40 pound hunting bow,
And 10 times with a sledgehammer
Results were this:
Three holes in the mesh and pummeled flat.
Lots of fun for not much info gained.
Overall I do trust my masks more because it the dents were exponential. As shown in the video, it took a blow with no dents when able to move, but only dented when it could not.
So yeah, overall a good success.
