â I canât believe it takes you and a few fucking heads to blow up just to have breakfast together. â  Cass said in frustration, brows knitted together in anger to nothing in particular. Her ears on fire trying to push down the ugly feeling, not wanting to let it go up in her head. Recalling what she just said, her eyes widened and covered her mouth.   â Wait, did I justâŠcursed? â   She looked at her brother in disbelief for a moment then laughed a little. Cassandra stood up with her plate and move to sit beside her brother and rested her head on his shoulder.   â You know what, Iâll stay here with you. Iâll take care of you. â  Tim needed to rest, they both did. They needed to step back before going back in the field again.
âWe need to do this more often, itâs nice having breakfast together.â Tim admits trying to lighten the mood, but it doesnât really work. He frowns after he says it, and is pretty sure Farid wouldnât approve of him having left his bed so soon. He just wanted to try being productive. He looks at his legs that are both wrapped in bandages up to his knees, sighing at the sight because itâs going to be some time before he could head back out into the field. âYou did, Iâve never heard you do that before.â It makes Tim laugh too, a light in the darkness. Â His head leaning against hers, smiling finally having his sister here. âYou mean that? We can watch a movie maybe, your company is more than enough. I wouldnât say no to help changing my bandages though. Itâs probably time, and I donât want to bother Farid. If you need anything though, donât hesitate to ask me. I want to be here for you too, SIS.
