                   She knew that Harry Osborn was a popular guy but she didn’t expect it was hard to have a conversation with him in. All Cassandra wanted was to catch up with him but apparently, she had to go through many people to get through him and she was pretty sure, elbowing her way to him will get a stamp of disapproval  from Farid,

                    At that moment, all that Cassandra could do stand a couple of meters away from him, trying to catch his eyes before giving him a tiny wave in greeting.

                 Miss Wayne. Cassandra had to turn around at the recognition. She wondered what kind of headline the server read for her to recognize her. Is it that time she gave a paparazzi a roundhouse kick in the face? Or was it that time she was photographed exiting a performing arts theater with Harry Osborn? She’d like to think it was because she is Bruce Wayne’s daughter.

                 Cassandra was presented with a tray full of champagne flutes. From what she learned from attending all of these fancy gala is that she has to take one and so she did. She gave him a curtsy then she realized that was a little too much. At that point, she was just simply mixing up what she learned from real life experiences and what she learned from watching movies and television.

                   She had always been curious of what it tastes like, excitement started bubbling from deep within her but her face remained neutral as she was trained to quickly recover from light feeling. It doesn’t stop her from being curious. She sniffed the content and before taking a sip only to almost spit the drink back to the glass as she saw a figure approaching her and she was sure it was her they were approaching as there wasn’t really around in the corner where she retreated.

Kon rubbed at the back of his neck, not sure how pleased he should be to hear that. Not about recieving Cass’ approval, that was always appreciated, but just how much he was allowed to preen these days considering how badly he’d screwed up. Clark told him he’ll work it out with time and to have patience since this was his first real experience with failure, but dang, it’s a drag. “Thanks,” he responded nonetheless.

“Wonder Woman, nice. Ran into her once. She seems real swell.” And hot. But that probably didn’t need to be said out loud. “Etsy’s a pretty sweet site for sure, I think it might be my third after Instagram and Youtube. Or wait, Tiktok. Fourth then. All the coolest unique stuff are on there.” He flicked his hair and grinned. “I gotta stay ahead of the fashion game afterall.”

She’s running before he can answer — straight up the stairs, like they were a couple of KIDS getting lost in the world’s strangest theme park. ( There was something about large houses that always made him think this. ) Nonetheless, he goes after her, not as quickly and certainly not as smoothly, but he reaches the top of the stairs and doesn’t spare a glance behind them. 

“How long have you lived here for?”

                   She can’t help but laugh. As Batman, yes. His glare was enough to keep criminals running.    “ People always make up scandal about him, glaring or not. “

                   When he reaches the top, Cassandra hurries to the huge double-door of the library, giving Harry one look for pulling it open. They were welcome by the sunlight illuminating the whole room. Cassandra steps in and made her way to the balcony with the view of the foyer and tall shelves of books.
