POW! WOW! JAPAN! Recap.
POW! WOW! is a gathering of contemporary artists who engage with the broader community through the process and creation of art and during the week of October 17th, 2015 the Tennozu area of Tokyo, Japan became the center of the inaugural POW! WOW! JAPAN!
Artists (Above) CASE, HTZK, Colasa, Mark Dean Veca, Usugrow, Frankie Cihi and Kamea Hadar x Fafi plus others featured below spent the week creating electrifying murals around the city. “It’s been exciting to witness the success of POW! WOW! continually reach new heights,” said Jasper Wong, founder and co-director of POW! WOW! Worldwide. “Our expansion within Tokyo, an unrivaled art haven, creates a truly original and unparalleled experience for artists to showcase their work.”
Alongside the murals POW! WOW! JAPAN! featured block parties, musical events and installations to help invigorate the atmosphere.
