@tnd-quotes-and-notes
please be kind. we are all wounds at different stages of healing.
Sometimes i don't know what to do with my time. I feel something that goes beyond boredom, beyond apathy, beyond depression. like i am missing something, but i can't remember what it is, nor can i fill the space that it has left behind.
I try sleeping, I try eating, I try drinking water, I try going outside, I try talking to friends, I try doing a bunch of hobbies, like coloring, reading, playing games, even doom scrolling. None of it ever works.
It's as if a part of me is missing, but I don't know when i lost her or where she could have gone.
“I sometimes seem to myself to wander around the world merely accumulating material for future nostalgias”

“There are many things that I do not know because I photocopied a text and then relaxed as if I had read it.”
— Umberto Eco, How to Write a Thesis
“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up.”
— Louise Erdrich, The Painted Drum
I say “never again”, but I have a masochistic heart and a horrible need to love that which doesn't love me.
Jessica Katoff
I explained my hurt, and still got hurt, so I learned to stop talking.
