The only reason Echo got hired by TF Industries in the first place was because she took a job that pitted her against them.

In fact, the location of the item in question was at one of the locations where RED & BLU were actively fighting against each other at the time. She ended up having to dealing with both teams, but succeeded in her objective none of the less.

She was contacted by a representative of the Administrator, apparently they were able to find her by capturing and torturing her previous employer for information before killing him.

Instead of being tortured or killed as she expected, they offered her the opportunity to work for them and join one of the teams she fought against. Echo accepted.

Echo can levitate herself with her telekinesis, but not for long periods of time as she will tire herself out more quickly than usual. She will eventually master this ability, but it will take some time.

Echo is virtually nonexistent to the government. She has no paper trails, no birth certificate, social security, nothing. This makes her extremely hard to track, aside from word of mouth, which is usually how Echo tended to get hired before as a freelancer.

As Echo normally doesn’t rely on firearms, preferring to utilize her telekinesis on the battlefield, she recently developed this technique as a means to create a projectile that can pierce through objects--even from a distance. Scout may, or may not, have a direct influence in regards to giving Echo the idea in the first place.

There are two different methods in regards to this technique with different effects.

The first method, heavily influenced by Scout, is similar to a handgun. Echo just has to make the shape of a handgun with her hand and she fires from her index finger. She is capable of firing from both hands and at a far range depending on the amount of energy and force she puts into it.

With the first method, Echo can fire in multiple bursts with less power or a powerful single shot.

The second method is inspired by the shotgun, a lot more power but less effective at long-range. To use this method, Echo just has to make a fist and she can fire a spray of telekinetic energy from it.

There is a variation, though using her telepathic powers as the bullet--though it does not do physical damage. Instead it effects the mind, stunning them or outright killing them depending on the amount of power she uses.
