Messenger sighed. Of course lockers would be out in the open. Itās not like the purpose of them is to keep stuff secure or anything. She swept a hand through her bangs to get them out of her eyes.

Her jaw clenched momentarily, but Messenger took a deep breath and tried to relax her face. This man had been her final test with the Administrator. Her first direct kill sinceā¦everything had happened. She felt sick thinking about it. Felt sick knowing she was about to see the body again. Felt like collapsing into her own ammunition and never coming out.

Ā Whatever one was expecting from Mann Co. it couldnāt make up for their true absurdity of it all; it had certainly been unexpected, the first time heād come to work for them in RED, how matters were treated and how people were regarded as unimportant unless they were clients -- but then again, heās seen much worse anyway.
