Haii ^_^ May I ask why you softblock people who use the term 'littlespace'? /genq /nf

I don't usually explain why I have things on my block list because I think everyone is entitled to a dni without having to explain themselves to anyone (/gentle/nm)

But the term 'littlespace' originated as a kink term in the DDLG community to describe the headspace that the submissive takes on during a scene. While there are some regressors who use it in a SFW way, it's not possible to divorce the term from its origin and intended meaning, which is kink. "SFW" kink is still kink. (*even if it didn't originate from the kink community, which I could be wrong about, that's how the term was widely used and adapted)

The agere community is full of minors and people who are traumatized and/or uncomfortable with nsfw, and in my opinion using the term littlespace (even "sfw littlespace") is cross-tagging. Introducing these terms, which originated in and are often still used in kink circles, exposes minors and other sfw age regressors to nsfw whether it's intended or not, because when kinksters see the "littlespace" tag, they consider that to be one of their nsfw terms.

While people are entitled to use whatever term they want, at the same time I (and others) am also entitled to drawing lines and making boundaries about what terms I am and am not comfortable with being associated with me and my 100% SFW headspace.

You are absolutely allowed to use "littlespace" if you want. But you must also be aware of its kink origins, the connotations it still carries in those spaces, and the fact that a lot of regressors (myself included) are uncomfortable with it due to the undeniable association with the ABDL/DDLG community. And yes, while some terms change meanings over the years, this term is still being used by the kink community it originated with, and the origin of SFW regressors using it is likely also due to the fact that many SFW regressors (also myself included) were introduced to agere by kinksters and learned those terms first.

In my opinion its the same as people needing to unlearn the terms "Nonverbal" (i.e. going nonverbal, which is not possible as being nonverbal is a permanent state), "Impure/Pure regression" (implies that negative/vent regression is "inappropriate" or even sexual, and that positive/happy regression is the "Purest" form of regression, which is not true.)

TL;DR: use whatever terms you want, just be prepared for people to be made uncomfortable by it and not want to interact with you because of it. It is possible to use the term with completely SFW intentions, but a lot of people will always associate it with kink, which you have to take into consideration as well. Other people are allowed to say what terms they are and aren't comfortable seeing, just like you can decide what terms you use! Its a two-way street and people are allowed to curate their own space!

@fandomregression Proof and evidence of regressor Chilchuck that somehow the fandom has completely skipped over because all I see talked about is him being a caregiver and I think I’m going crazy because he’s so clearly baby coded. Hello?

Taken from volume 2 of the manga after the group encounters a mimic for the first time in the series ->

<- Excuse me? This is clearly a baby, scared of mimics, overtired and fussy, who needs a darn break. Senshi’s onto him, naps and food fix everything especially for kids so it’s a logical next step.

Marcille goes on after this to ask how old Chilchuck is and he’s blushing and says he doesn’t want to tell to which she replies it’s going to bite him in the rear someday and he brushes her off.

This whole chapter feels like regressor in denial with an over protective caregiver who knows she’s onto something. Or perhaps is just teasing and accidentally hit the nail right on the head.

<- Again this can be read as little in denial of being regressed; tell me that this doesn’t sound like she’s trying to ask how small he regresses so they can keep him out of trouble and safe possibly believing Chilchuck was regressing already due to the mimics and well he’s not saying how old he is so that’s Marcille’s excuse to baby him.

See even the others agree, just a kid. Tiny thing. No one is surprised by this but Chilchuck himself. I rest my case.
