@to-be-called
my manager (smart, funny, gorgeous, talented, ambitious, driven, sweet, delightful) was talking to me somewhat shamefacedly about how shes been having a hard time with her husband (barely works, refuses to cook, mean to her, piece of shit) but she feels so terrible for being mad at him because he Has been Trying and Has been Better and is it his fault for being traumatized? should she hold it against him is she allowed ?
i told her that in my opinion any man who is lucky enough to be in a relationship with her should be kissing the ground she walks on and that the second he bragged to me about never cooking i decided i didn't like him and that if he was doing anything worse than that i felt she was entirely justified in feeling any way she wanted and making any decisions at all about it.
& then a few days later she told me that when she went home after the 12 hour shift we worked last week and he bitched about her being late to make him dinner she told him to make dinner next time. and she said she had almost given up on saying it halfway through bc she felt evil and afraid but that she "heard [my] voice in [her] head" and dug in and gave him what for. hooray for women! i hope she kills him
