THIS WHOLE STORY IS PRETTY BALLER. Vianna is a an albino Zeltron who was hated by the other Zeltrons for her coloring, who become so angry and bitter that she turned to a life of bounty hunting and tried to kill several Jedi that got in her way. She also threw some pretty heinous accusations at Obi-Wan and the Jedi, she tried to do some pretty terrible things, and how do the Jedi treat her?
They have to stop her, of course, but they also treat her with compassion, despite that she has been nothing but a shit to them. Obi-Wan understands that she’s living this lonely, isolated existence because that’s how Mace described her to him, that’s what Obi-Wan sees in her when they fight, even when she’s snarling and angry.
So, when she put in an order for a clone of herself, so she won’t be the only albino Zeltron, what is Obi-Wan’s response? Let it go through, none of us should have to be alone.
I’M CRYING, OBI-WAN KENOBI IS THE BEST, AND LIKE. THINK ABOUT OBI-WAN AS A JEDI, WHO ARE SO INCREDIBLY RARE IN THE GALAXY, THERE IS LIKE ONE JEDI IN SOMETHING LIKE 18 BILLION PEOPLE, AS WELL AS THE JEDI’S WHOLE THING IS ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE, THE VERY CONCEPT OF NOT BEING ALONE IN THE GALAXY IS TIED SO DEEPLY TO WHO THEY ARE, A JEDI SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO BE ALONE IN THE GALAXY, JEDI WEREN’T MEANT TO BE ALONE, THAT’S WHY THEY HAVE A COMMUNITY, THAT’S WHY THEY HAVE THEIR CULTURE AND ADOPT CHILDREN AND HAVE A HOME, BECAUSE THEY ARE TOGETHER.
BUT FURTHER, NO ONE SHOULD BE ALONE, AND OBI-WAN’S ABILITY TO LOOK BEYOND HIS OWN SHIT AND SEE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING THROUGH, EVEN SOMEONE WHO HAS CAUED HIM DIRECT HARM AND PAIN, IS THE ABSOLUTE CORE OF THE CHARACTER.
