Being so far away from the Twitter space almost made me forget how mean y'all are

I haven't engage with anything Twitter related in like three to four years, which made me forget how miserable it is : )

I recently downloaded threads, and I saw a post about some Twitter post of Alysa Liu, and is showed a pic of her without makeup and with make up, and it said makeup should be criminalized. And my dumbass thought 'Omg it's cause she looks so pretty without makeup'

I thought it was like some backhanded compliment because I thought she looked pretty without makeup too ໒𖦹ࡇ𖦹 ͛১

But then I looked into the comments and realized it was meant as an insult... I forgot men on Twitter got that Pilgrim mindset lmaoooooo might as well be calling her a witch haha

I have that internet weirdo aura irl

I've always thought I looked like basic person in public, I always wear casual clothes, I don't really talk to people, and the most I express about my interests is my phone screen and app icons, and I have a drawing of some characters I like on the back of my phone, but that's it.

So why is it people always know that I'm terminally online?! What do I do that make it so obvious???

I started thinking about it after a conversation with my friend, it went kind of like this:

"Hey, have you ever hear of the omegaverse?"

"Yeah, I have heard of it, i've read some of that."

"Yeah you look like you would."

I LOOK LIKE I WOULD?? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???

I thought I looked like a normie who likes sanrio, why are people clocking me as terminally online?? It's not even the first time this has happened!!!! Whenever people ask me about something terminally online shit they always say after 'yeah I thought so' What am I doing? Is that just my aura??? Do I just give off Internet weirdo vibes??? They're not wrong but damn!!!

I guess I've just always been an easy weirdo to spot, even in elementary and middle and high school I've always somehow made friends with people who are chronically online like me, maybe I just never realized how much I act like weirdo. Maybe it was the FNAF tee I always wear, maybe people have caught a glimpse at what I do on my phone, I never really try to hide my screen. Is it the drawing I have of various characters having a picnic on the back of my phone? Is it my Cinnamoroll bag? Or was it obvious from the stickers on my water bottle? Maybe it's because I was drawing on Ms paint on the school computer? Was it because I'm too quiet? Do I really look that chronically online?

I have no idea, I was sure I wasn't making it obvious...
