shackled deerbeast
funny little shark I made at craft night
workin on a trio of hooters slappers and show-offs
finally got around to sealing this one. I had to try SO many different things with the colors before I found something I liked. and I do really like it! no idea what I did to achieve it though, don't think I could recreate it in a million years
new shape from today, not quite done but nearly
going to be doing some risky experimenting with the translucent clay on this thing, so I wanted to get some pictures of it beforehand because I do like it
arapaima progress! the scales took ten thousand years of repetitive work and then it fell over in the oven and the fin broke so I had to glue it back together and it needs a day to cure before i can do anything else, but we persevere
update on this is i added clay to lengthen the other fin so it'd sit more balanced, fully forgetting that polymer clay-baking temperatures would destroy the craft glue I'd used to fix the first fin, so it is once again spending a day curing lol. no more baking after this! no matter what
it does seem like the Shapes are accumulating remarkably fast
pterosaur dragon progress. used translucent clay for the wing membranes, first time using it-- harder than i expected because the texture was much stickier and softer than the normal opaque stuff. now that I've used it i regret that i didn't do it differently but that's ok it's a learning process now i know the information

fish i started today! incredible how much faster the process is for things that don't have legs
also making good progress on a dragon pterosaur thing but i can't do the wing membranes yet cause i wanna use translucent clay for it but that won't arrive for another couple days 😭
little medieval bestiary dragon
My very first tiger drawing and my latest
Your skill level is unquestionable but listen.
I love him.
me also. as well.
gonna go ahead and call this done! some sealant layers still to do but I'm learning that the shininess makes photos come out a lot worse so I'm gonna start taking pics before that step maybe
working on making my very own 100-700 CE peruvian cat vessel. just obsessed with the shape of it
