since i now have season 8 on dvd, here are some shots from nobodys fault that i find funny and/or interesting
(this will be a silly unserious post. i have a real analysis lined up soon :) i jsut want to look at silly moments to try and stave off how much i love the way this episode is filmed)
love this shot of all the fellows looking chastised when house is shouting at them lol. aside from chase who is just unbothered
a beautiful look at ginger chase. what a time to be alive
and now, the fellows different method's of covering their noses:
chase using his coat sleeve is so random. does this method actually do anything. why is he doing it like this. and then we have park and adams using the classic hands over nose/shirt over nose. can't go wrong with that.
and then we have taub. oh taub. why are you doing this. i'll give it to him, hiding his entire face is probably the most effective and in character thing he could have done
foreman is so hot in this episode. this is also the scene where he calls house "brilliant". very nice
nothing to see here. just taub looking through some files. totally normal. totally fun and normal and nothing else happening
(i won't show it cause i'm worried about making tumblr angry by including a photo of shirtless chase with a giant hole in his chest, but in that shot taub is cradling his head oh so gently and it makes my heart hurt a bit.)
i like the little details with the cofield interviews. specifically, taub's must have been one of the last, since for him all the lights are on. compared to adams, where it is still visibly light outside and they have no lights on when talking to cofield
house's face when chase finally speaks after waking up from surgery. insane. genuinely insane. somebody help me
this episode is FULL of some genuinely incredible creative decisions (and also some questionable ones, but i'll elaborate on that in my actual analysis post) and this shot. man this is full of some great stuff. i'll go into a lot of detail about it in my future analysis but i'm just putting it here now because it's so good
cofield is actually a pretty interesting character. i like the detail here of his takeout boxes in his kitchen lol. i don't think he got any sleep during this episode
i'm obsessed with this little sequence of everyone arriving to the hearing the next morning. also a really fascinating character detail for house - who is iconic for being late to things constantly, but is the first person to arrive here. like, way way earlier than anyone else, from what we can gather. the order of arrival here is house, then foreman, then taub, then park, and then i assume adams last. very interesting
i like chase's shoes.
i've mentioned it before in my fic, but while researching for it to try and see if this physio character had a name, i found out she also appears in season 3. apparently as the physio who tells house off for using his cane wrong. that's pretty cool!
okay and since i said that this would be an unserious post. here's ginger chase giving adams a death stare lmaoo.
