Stories about Mount Olympus sound amazing, but after living in a crowded house with five other powerful beings, Ian knows it must have been anything but. First, there’s Fiona, who rules over lost things but can’t seem to find herself. Then, Lip, who’s smarter than everyone else, but indulges his dick and the demand to drink. Debbie and Carl took a bit longer to develop, but their potentials for care-taking and protection are shaping up nicely. And Liam is the best of them all, with a heart as big as his capacity to survive anything. No one’s quite sure what his handicap is yet, but they hope they never discover one. Ian’s well aware of his strengths and weaknesses, and so is everyone else: Physical grace, agility and aptitude, but also mental instability, madness, and a nature that’s grown volatile in recent years. Getting the dog was supposed to help with the latter—to temper and soften his spirits. Ian knew the three-headed beast would never be able to soothe what ailed him, but over time, having Trike around did make things easier. He made him laugh with silly tricks and thundering snores, and was comforting company when the nights were long and the voices were loud. Still, there was one huge issue… It’s not Trike’s fault, though he is the reason for it, because every dog needs to go to the veterinarian, and in this case, the divine doctor happens to be Mikhailo, whose potent hands can hurt as much as they can heal, and who Ian’s been trying to stay away from ever since their brief, but passionate affair. Mikhailo may be a god in all of the ways that count, but he doesn’t need some diseased deity dragging him down to the depths. Still, Trike has three mouths, and that’s a lot of trips to the doggy dentist…
