Apparently he was supposed to be taller but he was pixel crunched for logistical purposes. We gotta love that for him. Everything and nothing is canon about him. For heck sake, Toby stated in the annotations for the official undertale cross stitching book that the colors for the characters aren't canon and everyone kinda just decided to give sans pink slippers.

Sometimes I forget Toby Fox is rich. I imagine him as a normal dude who's in a "comfortable" financial place. But then I see him donate 25 thousand dollars to charity.
W Toby for not living a glamorous selfish lifestyle, and using his advantages to provide to others.
The fact that I forget that he's rich and famous just shows that he's humble, and does a great job at it!

W Toby Fox for not over charging for merch or games. With his comfortable financial situation, he was able to make his games FREE. Most games are 60-70 bucks. Not everyone has that money.

Toby Fox is known to put on funny voices, and act out his characters when explaining ideas to his team, kinda like a puppet show...
One of Toby's old Tweets where he wrote something along these lines. "At a family gathering, and my dad just pointed to my shirt and said 'My son made those characters!' I was wearing an animal crossing T-shirt.,,,"
Toby wrote in the annotations of his sheet music (in the undertale collector's edition) That the song he was most proud of was "Snowdin town" because his mom would whistle the tune a lot.
Toby Fox straight up calling his rom hack of earthbound a piece of garbage. He's able to make fun of himself.
Here's the best for last! Toby's brother made a game-- just for fun-- and he based one of the characters off of Toby. He named the character Rals. That was Toby's inspo for Ralsei.... Meaning he probably relates to Ralsei in some ways. I can't wait to see the character development for Ralsei. Will he evolve with Toby's current life?

Extra ToFox fact for you. A while back, Toby wrote on his LiveJournal blog (Which can be found on web archives) that he was gonna try and exercise more to build some muscle. Uhhh He tried... (he is still very much Toby sized, but it's wonderful that he touches grass and is healthy!)

He may have mentioned some things in the Legends of Localization Book, or the UNDERTALE Art Book. You can find both on the Fangamer website. I'll definitely dig around a bit for you though!

Heya, do you think Toby will return to in-person events?
Toby Fox kinda crept back into the shadows once he began receiving too much popularity from rude crazy fans. He makes far more appearances in Japan, because his fans there know how to be respectful. He's appeared for interviews and stuff in Japan, but because everyone is RESPECTFUL and doesn't share pictures of him all over the internet, it goes under our radar. Toby has mentioned that he deals with anxiety when leaving the house, Throughout his whole career, he's mentioned NOT wanting to be on a pedestal. His worst nightmare must be getting posted all over TikTok and Instagram with cameras and mics shoved in his face. So, basically, if American culture stopped being so media-based and selfish, maybe we would get a chance to shake his hand. In the meantime, he may make an appearance over video chat, or something may be streamed at a convention with his face being hidden. Toby used to attend PAX East as a regular, so maybe they'll include something about Deltarune CH 3 this year or next year? Heck, Fangamer always has a booth at PAX They interviewed Toby and helped him a lot. Fangamer sells Toby's merch and publishes the physical copy of Undertale. so maybe Fangamer will host some event in the future???
I hope and pray every day that he decides to crawl out of the woodworks. I have a bit of hope because recently there was a documentary published where he was comfortable showing his face!
The heart locket that inspired undertale! When toby was 18, his mom gave him a necklace before he moved from new Hampshire to Boston to go to college. He wears it so he doesn't have uncontrollable sobbing fits cause he misses his momma.
