In her car, Toby has half a mind to turn around and head home as she navigates Storm's directions to his place, pursing her lips as she wonders why she'd agreed to doing this tonight. Since arriving in NYC, Toby had gone out of her way to keep social interactions to a minimum, preferring the stale air of her empty apartment or the smoky stranger-filled bars near her to any one of her co-workers. She spent eight hours a day with the fuckers, and that was about nine hours too many, in her opinion. Despite her resistance, Toby drives her little red Jetta, honking angrily at a j-walking pedestrian, flipping him the finger as she slams on her brakes.
"Idiots, everywhere I look," she mumbles, her voice barely audible over the Lumineers mixtape playing in the little car. "Fucking idiots," she repeats as the man clears the street and she takes off once more, her lips pressed in a firm line. A few minutes later, Toby finds herself parking in the lot outside Storm's apartment, her signature huff of annoyance escaping her lips as she turns the car off. "At least there's Sour Patch Kids," she mumbles, flipping down her visor to check her reflection. After applying minimal lip gloss and fluffing her soft curls, Toby grabs her keys and gets out of the car, manually locking the door before heading towards the door.
Before she even knocks, Toby can hear faint, muffled moaning from outside Storm's apartment. Either she showed up to the wrong party or Storm had exciting neighbors, but either way, she found the situation amusing. She knocks, slipping into the apartment as he opens the door, receiving his hug frigidly. Just before she has a chance to mention Storm's noisy neighbors, his television catches her eye, a smirk making it's way to her face. "Was I interrupting?" She asks, a bemused tone to her words. She shrugs out of her coat easily, rolling her eyes at his comment about not minding the porn. "Honestly, I'm here for the pizza. Whether we're watching porn or we're watching Paranormal Activity, as long as you're feeding me, I'm good." A sly smile sneaks across her face, her eyes glittering suggestively. "It's whatever you want, Thunder."
