Desmond and Lilias’ disaster meet features in both Illuminare and Dawnsong and always makes me chuckle. So, obviously, I had to have an illustration of that fateful moment. 👌🏼

Jenelle Hovde did such a lovely job of bringing everything to life! Poor Desmond...he just should have never answered that door (I mean, story plot would have been lost, but his momentary sanity and dignity would have been saved). 😅

Can we stop for a moment to admire the beauty of Lilias’ costume and the stormy setting. ♥️
