imagine thinking I’m quiet because you don’t have access to the premium personality package
sunflowers or daffodils? books or movies? hardcover or paperback? sweet or spicy? city or countryside? late night or early morning? sun or snow? skin care or hair care? long hair or short? ibuprofen or home remedy? watermelon or mango? moon or sun? night in or night out? silk or satin? summer or winter? spring or autumn? fiction or non-fiction? crawling insects or flying insects? picnic or bbq? jewellery or none?
Every version of you was necessary. Even the ones you’re ashamed of.
Exhausted.
I worked two jobs for 2.5 years. Anywhere between 65-75 hours a week, every week. Late nights, early mornings. I still have not been able to find the words to describe the utter exhaustion, constant stress, and burn out that I was feeling in that time period.
But it’s crazy to me how well my brain works to problem solve things when it is not complete mush.
For example, C always gets HANGRY. That boy is the definition of hangry. We’ve been making these snack pack bags to keep in the car so he doesn’t have a meltdown. Chips, goldfish, beef jerky, trail mix, etc. It has been a true lifesaver when we’re running from school, to basketball, to home.
Something doesn’t feel right. I don’t feel like myself.
I need to find my way back.
I guess as a deeper exploration…
I started this year off with so many goals. My life had crumbled to nothing and I rebuilt it from the ground up. I knew what I wanted and nothing was going to stop me from achieving it. I found my voice. I stood in my power.
But now that I’ve achieved those things, I’m feeling discontent. I don’t have anything I’m working towards and that’s not keeping me in line.
I need to focus. I need to figure out what the next level holds and build the stepping stones to get me there.
I need the time to sit with myself and learn what this next chapter is all about.
Something doesn’t feel right. I don’t feel like myself.
I need to find my way back.
I’m really burnt out at my job, and I didn’t think this day would ever happen…
I don’t think I’m burnt out enough where I will start looking for other jobs. I LOVE my job. But I’m burnt out enough that I need to do something about it.
I always want to update yall but I hate typing on my phone and I rarely get on the computer…
Have you ever seen yourself through your dad’s eyes, a dad who hasn’t seen you in 20 years?
It’s quite magnificent.
Hanging out with a bunch of old dudes who are retired, living in a small town in Montana is not as exciting as you would think.
