Tod smiled in greeting, excited at meeting another new face, “Hi! My name’s Tod, what brings you out to these woods?"

Julian blinked, looking at the other. “Ah, my name is Julian… I got lost on where I was going." She admitted sheepishly.

Tod grinned, "That's alright! A lot of people get lost easily in these woods, when they don't know it like I do! Where were ya headed? Maybe I can help!"

Nod shrugged. “I dunno. It’s just what we call ourselves. I mean, I guess our uniforms do blend in with leaves. Maybe that’s why."

Tod nodded, "I guess that makes sense.. Anyways! What are you doing out here? Not a lot of people come out to these woods." He asked Nod, and waited intently for his response.

  "Oh right! Well I was just taking a walk in my hospital’s garden and I guess I must have wandered off" she said more to herself as she tired to remember.

"Hospital, huh?" Tod furrowed his eyebrows in concentration, trying to think of the nearest hospital to here. After a moment he snapped his fingers in realization, “I have no idea what hospital you’re talking about!" He concluded with a satisfied nod.

"Well I would figure. It’s a small hospital, not really famous or anything. But the people there are very kind." she explained to Tod. “I think I’ll be able to find my way back" she said as she began to think for a moment just to be sure with herself.

He furrowed his brows and gave the other a curious look. “My name’s Nicholas St. North. You can call me North."

"So, Tod’s Forest, huh? Do you live here all by yourself?"

Tod shook his head quickly, "Oh, no! I live in the town just over that way, a bit with Ms. Willow. I just come out here to explore." He explained.

Huh? Mushroom? The Enterran laughed. “Hahaha! You’re pretty funny!"

"No, just Mushra! Nice to meetcha, Tod! What’re you doin’ all the way out here? You live around here?"

"This is where I come to get away from it all! I live in the town just over that way a bit." He told Mushra, gesturing North, “What about you? I don’t see too many people out here often."

"Oh, that town I was just in? It’s a great place, people there are really nice! Definitely one of the more hospitable places I’ve stayed," he commented with a nod. A bed to sleep in and warm food were things he didn’t experience often in his travels, so he always came out of such towns in an exceptionally good mood. “Me? I’m an adventurer! I stayed in that town last night, but normally I just travel around."

"Yeah, I love my town! Although, Mr. Slade doesn’t like me all that much.." Tod admitted with a chuckle, “He’s the neighborhood grouch, and my best friend, Copper’s grandpa!"

"Oh, you mean that old grumpy guy who kept yelling?" Mushra asked, remembering an old man who easily fit the description. “He was kinda funny!" He’d never really seen anyone like that, and somehow Mushra managed to find the man amusing. “Best friend, huh? Sounds cool!!" Mushra missed his friends every time friends were mentioned, but they were probably doing well.

"That sounds like him!" Tod confirmed with a laugh.

"And Copper's great! The best friend a guy could ask for! Except we're really not allowed to see each other, but that's ok I guess."

  Simara couldn’t help but chuckle at Tod’s enthusiasm. “Well that’s quite impressive!" she smiled.

Tod’s grin widened at all of Simara’s compliments. He liked this girl, she made him smile. 

"Oh! You said you were lost, right? Where were you trying to go? Maybe I can help!"

He was curious about this person. Not many people traveled the woods alone besides him. Tod wasn’t complaining though! He loved company.

North looked up when he heard a voice, arching his brow at the red haired male before him. He scratched the back of his head as he looked around. 

"I’ve actually seem to have gotten myself lost, do you think you could tell me where I am? I’d appreciate it."

"You're in my forest!" Tod explained, and paused for a moment, "Well.. Not actually my forest, but that's what I call it. Tod's Forest! Because that's my name! What's yours?" He asked curiously.

"Hello there!" Tod greeted, examining the stranger, “You’re.. dressed rather odd.. Very.. green!"

"Well, yeah," Nod replied, looking down at his Leafman uniform. “That’s how Leafmen dress." He raised an eyebrow at the boy. “Who are you?"

"Leafmen? You don’t look like you’re made of leaves…" Tod noted, circling around this Nod fellow. Once he was content with surveying the stranger, he grinned, “I’m Tod!"

"Uh, I’m not made of leaves, buddy," Nod said with a smirk. He held out his hand to the boy. “I’m Nod."
