i hate toe shoes more than i hate myself

exactly three months ago marked Toe Shoe Hate’s five-year anniversary. I may not be active on this blog very often, certainly not active enough to catch an anniversary like that when it actually happens, but rest assured, I have hated toe shoes every year since 2016 when I unfortunately became aware of them. many things have happened since then. Donald Trump being elected president. a global pandemic. the time I saw someone wearing toe shoes on a plane to Melbourne. dark days indeed. but through it all, one universal constant has remained: i have hated toe shoes. and I always will.

here’s to another five years.

I just want to make sure we all know sombra doesn’t wear toe shoes / vibrams. The are thick tights/leggings with reinforced padding on the under side. If they were toe shoes, the shading defining each toe would be much more pronounced and go further into her foot.  That is all, good night.

those foot sticker things remind me of the vibram fivefingers that were a fad a few years ago (shoes that are kind of like toe socks with a sole) I hate to admit it but I had 2 pairs of them and I loved them at the time but now I'm a s h a m e d. I literally begged for them because I thought they were so cool.
