My new shoes arrived!

exactly three months ago marked Toe Shoe Hate’s five-year anniversary. I may not be active on this blog very often, certainly not active enough to catch an anniversary like that when it actually happens, but rest assured, I have hated toe shoes every year since 2016 when I unfortunately became aware of them. many things have happened since then. Donald Trump being elected president. a global pandemic. the time I saw someone wearing toe shoes on a plane to Melbourne. dark days indeed. but through it all, one universal constant has remained: i have hated toe shoes. and I always will.

here’s to another five years.

My new shoes came today! I ordered these shoes right after I got back from Orlando, but the first pair were too big, so I had to send them back and that took forever, haha. So now I have them in the right size and they are great! I did a suuuuper easy walk / jog tonight to just test them out. My legs are sore either from my workout the other day or from bowling last night. But the shoes felt good! Probably need a little breaking in before trying a long run. I might still do some dancing tonight, we’ll see. I’m being lazy, enjoying my day off, haha. Yay!
