Today, we're so excited to share with you a brand new challenge to play in The Sims 4:
A Gameplay Challenge for the Sims 4

Well, not entirely new: our challenge is inspired by Simmingbee's Commune Challenge, which is an updated version of an even older challenge from more than 10 years ago, as far as we know. We thought it would be fun to flesh out the rules, make new ones, and overall make them more fun and flexible, and update them for newer packs.
We worked very hard to make the Challenge enjoyable and… well, challenging, even if you only have Base Game! Of course, some packs will bring some spice to your gameplay and more depth to your simming adventures.
Remember: this challenge is all for fun. We do not subscribe to or explicitly support any of the particular beliefs or practices presented below. In the words of Canadian Hockey Player Ilya Bryzgalov, “It’s only game - why you have to be mad?”
The premise of the Challenge is pretty simple: you can choose between two paths. You can either be the kind founder of a Commune, guided by ideals of sharing, caring, and empathy, or you can take on the role of the evil leader of a Cult, driven by ideals of greed, manipulation, and devotion. This Challenge has some core end goals to achieve if you want to complete it, but it’s also expandable and can be played for a long time if that’s what you want to do.
