Happy fnaf anniversary, this series still means so much to me
I usually think of Michael as being a seasoned protagonist and somewhat callous to the events of the fnaf games he's in because most of the time he already knows what's going on. He knows about the robots being possessed, he knows about the murders, he knows what's going on at Freddy's. On top of that, Michael in the fnaf games is not much of a character. He's just meant to be you, the player, he's not given any kind of characterization or emotions within the games, he's just a blank slate for you to play as.
So I oftentimes forget that we're explicitly shown in several games that Michael is scared. He was scarred enough by fnaf 1 to have reoccurring nightmares about it in fnaf 4. Baby says on night 4 of sl that his breathing and heartbeat are causing the springlocks to come loose, and springlock suits may be delicate, but I doubt they're so delicate that regular breathing and heartbeats will cause springlocks to come loose that quickly. The springlocks are coming loose because Michael is terrified, his breathing is heavier and his heart is racing.

Some sketches of Dave(Crying Child) from my connection live au. I'll have a full sketch page for him later but wanted to yap about him a little.
He takes after William A LOT, which is based on a headcanon of mine that if Dave had grown up he would have looked way closer to William than Michael- which itself is based on that the Silver Eyes William looks like he's based on C.C's sprite from FNAF 4.
The first one is well, his angry expression. I don't think he makes it very often, and when he does it can be a little unsettling. Especially for Michael who's reminded of maybe not so pleasant times.
The second one is his smile, it tends comes off as very smarmy, or disingenuous even though he is being genuine when he smiles like this. Yet another thing he unfortunately inherited from William, but he doesn't quite has the charisma stats to make it work the same William did.

Just went through my old laptop files. Found a handful of early 2025 fnaf art! Some are like, fully finished/sketched panels for comics I never finished. There's even a few designs I made for Pels mom in here (I think I'd redo them tbh) and some random doodles cuz there's always plenty of those lol
