Inspiration:

My inspiration truly came from simply watching others succeed in what they loved doing the most. I think its very noticeable when someone loves what they do and everything they do just comes so naturally. I love seeing others succeed and that is really what inspires me, the fact that you can turn something so small into something so great is breath taking. How could you not go all in something you love doing when life is so short? Motivation:What keeps me motivated is my WHY. Why am I doing what I am doing today? My why changes but no matter what it changes too I constantly remind myself of it. Today.. my WHY is to give my family financial freedom and to buy a condo downtown next year. This is WHY I work 13 hour plus days 7 days a week. Something that keeps me going is also the ripple effect working hard has on you...its quite fascinating... you get what you put in. Its that simple. Every win I have had in my business thus far has just hyped me up for the next! I love the struggle, I love the journey, and I am enjoying every second of it because I know everything we go through in life is constantly changing and it never ever stays the same. Watching my hard work impact other lives for the better has become addicting. Mission: 

My mission in life is to change the lives of those in need for the better. My end goal is to be a very strong and successful motivational speaker. There is something about connecting with people that intrigues me. I really truly believe I was brought into this world to share and spread my positivity. If we are talking near future I would like to pay off my parents home and move downtown Italy next year. Long term future? ... I'd like to own more than 30 plus homes, be a successful motivational speaker, have a bitchen’ pod cast station where I can vent all my thoughts on positivity, obtain financial freedom, and lastly have my army of construction workers ready to renovate any homes/buildings I find. However, most importantly I see myself staying healthy and spending as much time with my family and friends as need be. The future me will always be better than the current me and I will never allow it to be any different, I will forever continue to grow and flourish and so should you. My name is Kass Rose Gold, i’m 23 years old, and i’m from San Diego, CA. I am a singer/ songwriter and multi-media artist. I am also the owner and operator of my new clothing brand called Angels Anon. 

Inspiration:

My first and biggest inspiration is my mother. She raised my three siblings and I, as a single mother since I was eight. She taught me that anything is possible and it’s never too late to make your life a success story. My uncle who passed when I was about 14, Ronald Alfred Ferguson, was a huge inspiration to me, he was one of the most honorable people i’ve ever met and he inspires me to try and live each day by that same standard. Creatively, i’m inspired by human behavior, colors, fashion, films, love, etc. Specifically, to name a few artists, i’d say i’m very inspired by Nina Simone, Kanye West, Elton John, Karen O, Cher, Father John Misty and so many others. I’m just inspired by life honestly, I feel as i get older i’ve been more present and able to pay attention to the little details in everyday that makes life seem like a never ending dream that never gets dull.

Motivation:

One big thing I’ve learned is that it’s super necessary to be able to find motivation within each struggle. Life will never cease to throw hard times your way, even after you’ve reached major goals, so it’s best to find the beauty and recognize the lessons that they are meant to teach you. My future self ,aka the best version of myself, motivates me everyday to work hard towards my goals and be more like her. I also find it super motivating to see my friends and family striving towards achieving their goals and seeing them make those accomplishments. Lastly, my dreams of inspiring as many people as I can , bringing joy to as many people as I can, creating a soundtrack to as many moments in people’s lives as I can will always be a huge motivation to me- I’m a big day dreamer.

Mission:

I realized at some point that you can not make anyone do anything, but you can inspire people to do something if they feel it may benefit them or someone they care about. My biggest mission is to utilize my life as a platform to inspire people to realize that they are capable of doing great things, that anything is possible, to keep going through dark times, and no matter who you are or where you came from; there is always a way to make a dream come true.

There are so many benefits of doing what I love to do. To name a few; I’ve gotten to meet some of the most amazing individuals, I’ve learned so much about myself, and I've found a healthy way of managing my depression and anxiety. This journey has brought me so much closer to my family as they have shown me so much support and love and I couldn’t be happier or more thankful to be able to say that.

What the future holds:

As of right now, my immediate future consists of releasing my first LP, titled “Feel Like You”, my second EP titled “Mirrors”, releasing my first run of merchandise for Angels Anon, and moving to Los Angeles. As far as more down the line, i’m planning on getting some music videos released, continue growing Angels Anon, and eventually I hope to go on tour and travel. I want to always push myself as an artist to try all kinds of different mediums. I’d like to model mens streetwear and continue growing my skills as a film photographer, and i’d even like to try my hand at short/ feature length films (writing, directing, and/or acting). Another huge goal of mine would to be to participate in Fashion Week, whether its with Angels Anon, modeling, or even styling. I guess it’s safe to say I like to dream big, but like i said earlier; life’s a big dream to me anyways. The sky's the limit.

Inspiration:

Music wise i grew up listening to cypress hill, bone thugs, Eminem & shit like that cause my brother had all the cds, I didn’t start making music till I was 17. I was using some bullshit program GarageBand 3 ‘till I got my hands on fl 11. I do use other programs here n there like Ableton & mix craft but fl 11 is my go to.

Motivation:

is to just move right because it easier for people to show hate than love.

Mission: 

Right now I’m just working on a lot of music . I’m drop a few Beat Tapes that I’ve been working hard on plus i’m getting vinyls pressed up of my first tape (reloaded unreleased)  after I’ll just be planing something new.

My name is Alan Ramirez, I am a 20 year old Mexican, born and raised in Escondido, CA with roots entrenched in Capomal, Nayarit. I am the founder of GLOBEROTTERS, a local street wear brand from Escondido which I hope will change the street wear landscape in the near future.

Inspiration:

My inspiration ranges from those who are well known to those who don’t get enough attention for what they do. On a local scale I’ve drawn inspiration from those who have excelled at their craft which would translate into stores such as Street Life which can be found in Escondido and Grandeur in Oceanside. Of course there are many more places across the county I could name but, those are just a couple of my favorites. On a larger scale people such as Bobby Hundreds and Ben Hundreds from The Hundreds are inspiring to me because of the way they bring their community together in LA and all rally around each other. My biggest inspiration however, are my parents and they inspire me because of how they were able to rise out of poverty in Mexico and immigrate under dangerous circumstances just to ensure a better life for my siblings and I. The hard work they put in on a daily basis just to maintain a life her in this country is amazing and only inspires me to be as great as them even though it’ll be hard to top what they’ve done for me.

Motivation:

My motivation comes from brands all over the place who have laid the groundwork for what I am trying to accomplish which is to bring something new to street wear entirely. We’re only starting to scratch the surface! The Escondido community itself is an inspiration to me cause of all the diversity that shapes the city and makes it what it is and all the great artists that make the city that much greater. All that right there motivates me on its own cause when I see a musical artist, a painter, or even someone making a podcast and putting in nothing but passion into it, it makes me want to do the same with my craft and motivates me to be as great as my peers.

Mission:

My mission is to have a place where the residents of Escondido can have a place they can call a home away from home. Somewhere free of judgement and instead replaced with a welcoming environment. My other mission, is to find a way to make street wear affordable for the average person. The youth especially is fully aware of the way expensive clothes can create a type of inequality.

Benefits:

The benefits of starting a street wear brand ,for me at least, are all the people you meet and get to network with along the way. I am truly honored to have met so many people talented just through this and I can’t wait to meet more.

As much as I wish I knew, I truly don’t know what the future holds. I’ll leave that up to the universe. Often I am inspired by the people around me. Both those I work and socialize with, as I've realized how important it really is to surround yourself with like-minded, motivated individuals. I can say I'm very grateful to have that in my life now.  

Motivation:

Most of my motivation ironically derives from my failures. Failing at something forces me to use that failed perspective and re-approach the situation, or maybe move on to the next goal in mind if said achievement isn't attainable.

Mission:

I am many things, from a sister of two younger siblings to a student at San Francisco State University attempting to receive my bachelors in Africana Studies, however throughout the many roles I hold in this lifetime, art and creativity are always present.

It is no coincidence that my name is Monét.

I am a multidimensional biracial queer artist who endeavors in graphic design, painting, being a muse, spoken word, dancing and singing. I recently just completed illustrating a children's book titled ‘Miss Shanikwa Mack’ ( keep your eyes peeled)! However, aside from creating I also participate in organizing spaces where other people can express and share their works and talents as well. With that being said, I am not only an artist, I am a community organizer. My name is Jade Gomes, born and raised in San Bernardino CA. I am 25 years old, born November 29th 1992. I am a Sagittarius, which says a lot in itself. I have worked in retail for 7 years and been in retail management for 5 years. My true passion is working in the entertainment industry. I have always wanted to be an actress growing up, then I really got into rap and “Grind Time” battles, which peeked my interests in free-styling.  

Inspiration:

My inspiration would have to be Nicki Minaj. 2007 my sophomore year of high school my friends and I were hooked on her mix-tapes. I had an AIM back then of course I would post all of my favorite rappers lyrics in my AIM away messages . Gucci Mane was actually my favorite back then, still is. His music was a big influence, along with E-40. Music really influenced me in high school. Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky, Big Sean, King Los, and Odd Future just to name a few, were my biggest inspirations. In high school a lot of those rappers were on the come up and only had mix-tapes, so their music really influenced me and made me the hip-hop head that I am today. Growing up my Mom really sheltered me, I wasn’t allowed to listen to “secular” music, so I grew up either listening to gospel or old school. Which I hated but now I feel like I explored a lot of classic music that also played a big part in my inspiration. I feel like I appreciated music and hip-hop more when I became older because everyone is more interested in things they can’t have/listen to in my case.

Motivation: 

My motivation would have to be myself. Every year of my life I try to do better than the year before. I don’t love my current Job and I know that I have to create my own lane in order to do what I really LOVE, and that is entertainment. Most recently my peers and friends that I have known for years who are on my social media have motivated me even more to pursue this dream. Just from my funny snaps or videos of me rapping, so many people respond and have really helped me with my confidence. I have been more motivated lately because I realized that the people who truly know me are surprised that I am not as social on social media as you would think, they tell me all the time to post more pics and funny snaps so, I’m def tapping into taking social media and music by storm this year.

Mission: 

To be a Hot LYRICAL female rapper. I want to use this platform to pursue acting and modeling and just be an all around entertainer because I know it is what I was put on this earth to do. The mission is to take a dream from child hood and FINALLY pursue it at 25 without caring about what other people say or think, for once I want to just win on my own terms.

My name is Xtian Chavez Nila. I really don’t like categorizing myself as one specific thing but a few of the things I dabble in are graphic illustration, photo-realism, creative direction, typography, brand identity, but over all I would say I’m a creative mind.

Inspiration:

I don’t really like talking about my work or myself, I’m generally a private person so let me apologize in advance if the answer isn’t too straight forward. As cliche as it may sound I get a lot of inspiration from my everyday life. Family most importantly, relationships, and a lot of the music I listen to. I’ve always been attracted to wordplay so naturally when I hear a certain verse or combination of words I tend to paint a picture in my head. Most of my work derives from lyrics that resonate with a current situation I may be facing or a past experience. In short I’m always looking for inspiration, I feel it’s my duty to not let myself get in those dreaded dry spells. Motivation:

My biggest motivation are my parents. Having lived in one of the worlds largest slums as a kid (Ciudad Neza, Mexico City) and being brought to California to pursue the “American dream”. I feel it’s only right I do just that. Knowing my parents left everything behind to give my sister and I a better shot at a life they never had growing up. My family immigrated from a country where survival was the only option and they gifted me with the opportunity to chase my dreams and not have to just “get by” and survive. I hope to be able to repay them for all they’ve done for me, to reassure them that their sacrifice was not made in vain. Mission:

It’s funny looking back you know? Just a few years back my objectives were far from what they are today. Now a days I find myself wanting to give back more than I expect to receive. Ideally I want to be able to give back to my community and set kids up with the resources I’ve been blessed with over the years but most don’t have. I know what it’s like to be a starving artist and personally know how frustrating it can be to have an idea but lack the resources to make it happen. If I can set someone up with the knowledge to make it happen for themselves rather than them thinking they’re not good enough, why not? Better yet, if I can make that happen back in the motherland everything would feel as if it had came full circle for once. What the future holds:

I don’t want to give too much away because I live for the element of surprise. I’m also the type of person to let my work do the talking so I don’t want to hype anything up. All I can say is that I’m going to be taking more risks, learning new skills and combining them with some I’ve been neglecting and bring forth something that can stand alone without me having to “explain” what it means. I’ve decided that from here on my new standard will be to only produce work that doesn’t require me to be around in order for it to operate once it’s set out into the world. I am Malik Burgers. I make raps, beats, clothes, and I also dj here and there. 

Inspiration:

My inspiration are people like Jimi Hendrix, Steve Jobs, MLK, anyone who really pushed the limit and shifted the way people view everyday life. One day I plan to see my name up there with those greats.

Motivation:

My motivation is always my family and my close friends around me. They help me stay grounded and always remember what I’m working for. 

Mission:

My mission is to be able to be secure and self sufficient by doing what makes me happy everyday, which would be making music, clothes, and traveling.

What the future holds:

The future is very bright for me if I say so myself. I could always tell ever since I was young that life wouldn’t be anything regular for me. It’s all coming together now and I see greatness in my path. And I'm dropping a music video this Friday and an LP early 2018. I'll be alongside Rob $tone on his first headlining tour titled "The $tone Cold Tour" also taking place early 2018.

My name is NathanTabs and I’m a video editor and cinematographer based in San Diego and Los Angeles.

Inspiration: 

I’m inspired by the people I surround myself around, The artist that I work with, And the people who haven’t even met me but support what I do, I also inspire myself when I sit back and watch my videos that I’ve edited. I literally turn nothing into something dope. Film will always interest me and make me want to continue progressing while I become a better creator then I was yesterday.

Motivation:

I’m motivated by the fact that I can make money doing what I want to do. I recently got a “real job” and that also motivates me because it made me realize how boring and stressful it is to be spending your time not doing exactly what you want. Life is full of sacrifices and I know you can’t constantly have fun all day, but that’s really my goal at this point. To make money with the team and have fun doing it.

Mission:

My overall mission is to create content that will inspire the next person no matter what field of work. Videographer to mechanic. I want to create visuals that will live forever and remind the next person to grind everyday and hustle hard through this life journey.

 The benefits of doing what I do is abundant. The best thing about filming to me is being able to re-live my life events through motion pictures and digital pixels on my computer. It’s close to having a time machine in a way. Also, my camera is my V.I.P Pass to any event. They let me right in.

My name is Diane Vanessa, I’m an online coach & social media influencer. I’m 25 years old living in San Diego.

Inspiration: 

I found inspiration within myself when I first began my fitness journey. I started posting my triumphs & struggles every so often on social media. I started getting positive responses on them, so I continued to do so.  The women I coach, and my followers who are always so supportive inspire me to continue doing what I’m doing. Social media can be a tough place for someone who doesn’t have thick skin.

Motivation: 

Motivation always comes from within! Even on the days I don’t feel the motivation, I leave it up to determination to make it to my workouts & eat correctly.

The girls who look up to me provide a lot of motivation for me everyday, along with my clients.

These women go through so many struggles, and come out shining.

I am constantly doing my research & expanding my knowledge to better myself as a coach.

Mission: 

My mission is to continue helping women all over the world feel more confident in their skin. I want these women to stop being afraid of the “men area” in the gym, which is also known as the free weights area. I need these women to become selfefficient in the gym, and apply the knowledge I provide them to last a lifetime.
