Reunions||Dimitri

Anastasia thought of the family she lost. It bothered her that she couldn’t remember anything from her past. Being told from a third party made it less believable, though she new that Grandmother would never lie. They seemed like fairy tales from a world long since passed, in a world much brighter than the one she lived in now. She had heard Dimitri had left with out saying goodbye so she just accepted her new life and moved on.  That was until three weeks later she was doing some studies as she felta hand on her shoulder and she turned to see Dimitri. "Di...Dimitri?"She said as she got out of her chair and she practically tackled him as she hugged him, "What...What are you doing here?"She wondered. Her heart broke as he had left with out a letter or message. She had been training with her grandmother.  And inside it felt like a cage closing.  She couldn't go back now and change the path, that she had started on.

"Um, Hi"She said peeking out from behind Vlad and turned to look at Dimitri a little briefly as she didn't know what to think either.

The younger conman watched his partner take off down the street (as fast as a man Vlad’s size could go) before he turned back to the person who had surprised them, crossing his arms.

"You know, talking about members of the royal family surviving will get you shot in these parts.”

Anya had been separated from her dog and she wondered where she went."Pooka!"she said as she caught her playing with a large man. "Pooka, there you are girl"She said as she turned as she heard something about a royal family or something, "Um...hi"She said nervously to him.

"Dimitri? Where are...we going ?"she asked as she was walking with him. "I thought we were headed to Paris..?"she added

"Of course we are, your Grace." Dimitri answered, tone slightly sarcastic. "But we’ve got to get to Germany first, so we can get on the bus."

"The palace by the Sea?" He repeated, tone calm, but grating. "That was called…?"

“The devil is in the details they say. Give too much, you seem like you’re trying to hard. Don’t give enough, they won’t believe a word that comes out of your mouth. Trust me, Anya. I know how these people are.”

That night Anya was dreaming and Pooka saw Anya leave and she scratched on the door barking the. Went to Dimitri barking in his ear and bit on his hair a little pulling “gruff “:she barked.
