For Real This Time! Lol

Starting weight: 230.4 lbs
Well, as of August 17, 2016, I started eating healthy. It was kind of a spur-of-the-moment, long-considered switch. I needed groceries, so I bought all healthy things. Emily (and my friend/her fiance. Dylan) have a wedding in almost a year, so I want to look and feel my best for one of the most important days in my best friends’ lives!
[8/17/16] I started my Week 1 Day 1 workout of Zombies 5k (couch to 5k run app, worth the five bucks for sure). I made a workout playlist on my phone, and just went and did it. It was 81 degrees and I had just woke up, put deodorant on, ate a banana, and drank a few sips of water and went around the block several times doing the workout. Boy, was that a silly mistake.
First of all, it was so hot and the sun was still out and I had just woken up. The banana gave me extra mucus and I forgot to blow my nose after waking up, so it was harder than it had to be just to breathe. And I should have drank more water before leaving, because I was pretty dehydrated after the 36 minute walk/jog in the heat. My face was red as all heck!
For those reasons, I only walked during the 10-minute free-form at the end of the workout. I tried to walk too fast at the beginning, and by the time I got home and inside, I could barely move my feet. The toes felt like they were about to lock up when I tried to wiggle my flip-flops on, I could barely stand on my feet. I did try stretching when I got home, it helped a tiny bit. But next time before a run, I will make sure I am properly hydrated.
[8/18/16] Today, I decided my legs and feet still couldn’t handle the next run workout, so I chose to stay indoors and do some bicep curls, shoulder presses, and crunches. I didn’t count every rep that I did of each of the arm workouts, but I did count the abdominal crunches. I’ll write an estimate for the others, allow me to go to mY MIND PALACEEE:
Abdominal Crunches: 10 sets, 10 reps (aka 100 crunches)
Bicep Curls: 10 sets, 6 reps, 10 lbs (about 60 curls per arm @ 10 pounds)
Shoulder Presses: 10 sets, 5 reps, 10 lbs (you get the idea)
After doing those, I made a smoothie with a scoop of whey protein, 3-4 tbsps of plain Greek yogurt, a banana, six strawberries, about 3/4 cup of baby spinach, and an unsweetened almond milk base and 4 cups of water (separately of course).
And now I’m sitting hear typing it all out. Tomorrow after work, no matter what time I get out, I will go for my next walk/run workout on Zombies 5k.

Day 1 AGAIN: Starting Over (AGAIN)
This time I will be measuring more than just weight in hopes of not letting myself get discouraged by no actual weight-loss in one week or few days.
Starting measurements (taken a few days ago, but the weight was taken today after day 1, so may not be 100% accurate):
Weight: 224.4
Height: 66.75"
Neck: 16.5"
Wrist: 7"
Waist: 42.25"
Hips: 46.50"
Forearm: 12"
Calculated Body Fat Estimate: 37.14% (using http://www.davedraper.com/bodyfat-calculation.html)
I am starting this at an even higher weight than I did a year-ish ago, by about 6 pounds more. My goal for right now is to hit 200 in 4-6 weeks. I will be eating healthy and mostly clean, and working out (hopefully) six days a week, and have one cheat meal per week where I just eat something I have been craving.
I will try to post once a week with new measurements and progress notes.
Day 1 Again: Starting Over
I am finally starting back up on my healthy journey. Today, I woke up and ate a chicken/lettuce/cheese wrap on a healthy wrap. I had a piece of watermelon too, but didn't finish the other pieces. It says it was best 2 days ago and it grossed me out.
Later at work, or after work, I plan on making something healthy again. Perhaps I will stop at tops and buy some fish to bake, I love that Alaskan White Fish they have. I bet it would be good if I sprinkled some shredded cheese on it and melted it, too. But I won't. At least not this time. Then as a side with that, I could have some veggies. I don't know if that will be enough calories for the day, though. Probably won't be.
I'll think of something.
I didn't weigh-in today, I guess I'll do that tomorrow. I do know that I've gained much more back than any person would have liked to. That's what you get, I suppose. You only reap the rewards when you put in the work. Obviously. Perhaps tomorrow I will do some form of physical activity, but for today I am going to start out slow and just transition-eat.
That's all, hopefully tomorrow I will be right back with a weigh-in result. Otherwise I will just delete this post...

I feel so good right now. My day definitely started off the right way. :) I did week 2 workout 3 again because pouring rain and hail stopped me early last time, but this time it was all sunshine and I pushed myself harder than usual. It was also a little easier than usual so I can tell I’m ready for week 3, though it will probably kill me.
I also officially hit 20 pounds lost, which is cause for a small celebration. I’m not too focused on the numbers, but it’s still nice to see them going down! I can’t wait until I can see a visible change on my body. That will be the real celebration.

I feel like today will just be amazing. Pleasepleaseplease let work not totally suck like it did yesterday. I have a killer endorphin buzz and I don’t want it to die! :)
I don't remember what day this is, and it doesn't really matter. :P
Today (4/15/14, though I’m writing this at 2 am on the 16th) was… not good. I basically ate like crap all day. I tried to avoid it, but… I didn’t have enough willpower. I went to Olive Garden for dinner, had Easter candy that my boyfriend brought over, and had Tim Hortons for breakfast. Didn’t work out. Probably ate at least a few days’ worth of my calorie deficit.
(Part of it was stress. I got a ticket for going through a red light [an awkward yellow light that turned red while I was in the intersection, but nonetheless, a red light] and today was the court date. I got a plea bargain reducing it to a parking ticket and no points if I go to driving school, but I still will end up paying $100 for the fine and $50 for traffic school. Money I don’t really have, but I’ll work it out I guess.)
But this was only ONE DAY of bad things. It will not undo what i have already done. Yeah, I’m kinda bummed that I didn’t keep the bad eating to one meal and spent the entire day eating bad, but sometimes I’m going to have bad days and I can’t let it ruin everything. Tomorrow is a new day, a new chance to continue my healthy lifestyle. I plan on doing a lot of cleaning, starting week 2 of my 5k training, making delicious healthy food, and airing out the new yoga mat I bought today so I can do my yoga comfortably finally!
Life goes on, and so do I.
