Yesterday was such an amazing day! I got up early, drove my husband to work and then headed straight to my sister’s salon. I hadn’t be happy/confident with my hair since 2019. The last time I felt cute and confident was when I had my side shave so I knew I needed to do an obvious change to feel good about myself again. Well, I ended up getting a pixie cut! Cut it all off. The before and after photos I took, on their own, show just how much happier this new hair style has made me. After that I drove to Indiana to have a girls day with my bestie @pandorasboxx289 and her bestie, Amaris! I love both those girls so much, we all three have so much in common but are also uniquely our own person and they bring so much joy and value in my life. Being able to be open and talk about your life with friends who are kind and understanding is priceless. Amaris brought a bag of jelly bellys for each of us and we sat and talked, while sorting out the different flavors. It was absolutely lovely.
Talking to them has gotten me feeling more hopeful and excited than I have felt in quite awhile. It also has me wanting to make some changes. One of them being with this tumblr. I’m tired of getting messages or notifications from people I would rather not hear from. I’m sick of it still being considered “x-rated” and not allowing me to have a profile picture because of that. I haven’t posted nudes or really even scantily clad photos on here in years, and I don’t have any intention to in the foreseeable future. I’m just ready for a change. So this is going to be one of the last few posts I make on here. I will be making a new tumblr so message me if you are interested in following it.
