thinking about the first time uraume made sukuna laugh...
their relationship (if you can call it that) is still fairly new, but they are becoming more comfortable with each other as the days pass. they both fall into the master/servant roles easily, but some way somehow they shift into something more...
when uraume made sukuna laugh for the first time, it was purely unintentional. uraume wasn't even trying to be funny, they were just thinking out loud. they can't even remember what they said initially.
but when their master made a weird sound coming from his throat, like he was holding in a laugh, they looked at him skeptically. that's when sukuna lost his cool and burst. his laugh, like him, was all consuming. it was loud and contagious. they realize in that moment that they've never heard sukuna laugh before. maybe they thought that was below such a being -- a god -- like him. but now that they hear it, they want to keep making him laugh.
yes uruame cooks delicious meals for sukuna and makes sure he lives a comfortable life, but never have they felt so much pride than in that moment of laughter.
uraume wanted to laugh along with their king, but again this relationship is new and they didn't know if they were allowed to laugh with a god like him. thankfully, uraume has a bit more poise than their master and held it together. in the end all they could do is smile.
