Delay

Due to more IRL issues, Toko Week 2022 is going to be postponed for the interim-- hopefully we'll be able to do it later in the year.

Apologies for the short notice!

Apologies-- irl has been really nuts, so I haven't had time to keep up the highlight weeks (hopefully once Toko Week is over I'll be able to get to all of it).

And I know y'all have been eagerly awaiting prompts so you can start working on your submissions-- I will try to have those up sometime this weekend (and don't worry if you're not done in time, we'll accept late submissions).

Toko Week starts February 6th!

Day 2: Eyes (2009)

Her eyes were so eerie, so odd, yet they drew you in like a deep pool that you wanted to see the bottom of, but never could.

Day 1: Understanding (2009)

He should know how she felt about this. She had thought he understood her the most. She had thought she understood him, but apparently she was wrong.

Day 1: Understanding (2009)

"Thanks Zuko. I guess you do understand how it feels to be on the outside." With that said, the small earthbender walked off. Zuko sighed and looked across the pond. "More than you'll ever know."

Day 7: Wanted (2008)

Day 6: Protection (2008)

"I thought I was the one who was supposed to protect you," he said as he hung onto her hands, his feet trying to find footholds. "Fat chance," Toph growled as she started pulling him up.

Day 5: Field Trip (2008)

They had him wait for an hour while they treated Toph, but then, the nurses let Zuko enter the room where she was and she smiled as she recognized his footsteps. "Hey Hothead," she smiled, touching the bandage on her head gently. "Some fieldtrip, huh?"

Day 4: Affection (2008)

"I used to hit my friends in the arm when I was younger because that was how I showed affection. To show I liked them. But I don't want you two to hit anyone, even if you like them, okay?"

Day 3: Tea (2008)

"I just have one question," she said as a wry smile started tugging at her mouth. Se felt Zuko tense, and nearly giggled. "Who really made the tea?"

“I take it, young Toph, that you are not aware of the significance of the tea ceremony.” He said as he sat down beside her, deliberately avoiding the seat Zuko had just vacated. “Ceremony…?” She echoed with a frown. “I thought he was being overly formal…” “Every movement, the placement of every object, has a meaning.” He explained. “It is designed to show how much one deeply respects the other…and…when it is performed by one young person to another…” He picked up the fire-lily and gently pressed it into her hand. “…it is often to convey their…intent…”

Day 2: Burned (2008)

"I heard you were burned too," Toph said when he shifted to rub her lower back. He stopped for a second before his hands continued again. "Yeah," he whispered.
