What's a scrub?
A scrub is a guy that thinks he’s fly and is also known as a busta. ALWAYS talkin’ about what he wants and just sits on his broke ass
being woken up early on the weekend mood
imagine if lancelot and merlin had been overheard talking about magic by the other knights. but they weren't talking about it in any seriousness, so everyone latches onto that idea as a running joke. when something lucky happens, which is like, a lot, they always blame merlin, or thank him. in the same way that whenever there's minor trouble in Camelot, it's definitely always Gwaine's fault even if he wasn't actually there. it's a running joke for years.
at first it bothers Arthur because they are still technically accusing merlin of treason. but its clearly not serious, and eventually he joins in.
and then when Merlin tries to tell them he's a sorceror, they originally just don't believe him.
