"Yes sir, Mr. Nook!" Gleefully hoisting her duffel bag, she stepped off the dock and, the moment her shoes touched the grass, she took a moment to breathe in the scent of the ocean and fresh trees. For an island, the land was massive. Vines and tall grass sprang in every direction, from every direction, and the trees were ripe with what looked to be peaches. Some were in full bloom, their branches sprouting cherry blossoms whose petals blew away in the breeze.
Despite being overgrown and unkempt, it was gorgeous. Or maybe it was gorgeous because it was so overgrown. Regardless, this was her new home: a deserted island covered head to toe in greenery and cherry blossoms.
Jack and Lucy would be so jealous of this gorgeous view, she thought with a grin, and quickly made her way to the plaza, hurrying after the Big Tanuki In Charge.
Again, the pink-haired human was the first to arrive at the temp plaza, and he was a little charmed at her clear eagerness. But, to be fair to the other new residents, he waited until they had caught up with Sylvia before handing each resident their new tent.
"Well, I think you should all start by picking a good spot and pitching your tent. There's an entire section of the island to choose from, so choose wherever you like~"
He pointed a single paw at the currently tiny-looking firepit.
"And while you're doing that, please pick up about seven sticks. Between the three of you, we'll have a really nice campfire going~"
