Judge Continues to Rip NFL's Deflategate Case in Push for Settlement

The lawyers from the NFL and NFLPA were back in Judge Richard Berman's court on Wednesday and the judge continued to hammer the NFL on a number of fronts.

Still no predicting which way the Judge will rule but it’s nice to see the NFL’s case get torn to shreds before their very eyes.

Okay, before I state my opinion on DeflateGate, just know that I am NOT condoning what the Patriots did. However, I think it's absolutely fucking ridiculous how some players have gotten shorter suspensions for beating their wife in a public video (I know it was changed, but the fact that was their first decision is just insulting). Multiple players have used steroids on several occasions which, in my opinion, has WAY more of an effect in terms of 'cheating' than deflating a football in a blowout game. Not to mention that the media has been saying all of Tom Brady's accomplishments/titles should be stripped from him, and that he shouldn't be as high-ranked of a quarterback. I find this funny because Joe Montana, who is considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, used stickum on his gloves when he threw the football to Jerry Rice. Once again, I think this should be considered more as cheating, but did he get suspended for it? Hmm. And while I'm on the topic about suspension again: don't you think the refs who hold the ball after EVERY PLAY should get a punishment for this too, and not just the Patriots?
