Yeah, Tenna was roasting Kris for the entire first half of the chapter. He kept making little comments that seem to have the intent of getting under Kris’s skin.

Though, this could be unintentional, as Tenna was their tv and saw Kris’s history, so it might be him trying to connect to Kris… and failing.

Another reason could be out of anger at being abandoned.

The vibe I got was a more extreme version of asgore's copium. He wants Kris to say everything's fine since that would mean that everyone will eventually come back and be just like before

though a counterpoint would be when he talks about Dess before the concert "Maybe you can get her to come back and watch again sometime! Just kidding!" That one just feels spiteful.
