“Y-Yeah… She’s…” He watches the cat rubbing against him for a moment, a hand delicately moving to run through white fur before he shifts his position a bit in order to better look at the one speaking to him.
Kaito wonders if he should stand to converse here, perhaps that’d be more polite, but–the cat doesn’t seem to want him to. She seems content just nuzzling across whatever she can.
( And he feels like doing so would emphasize his own lack of height. )
“…You think so?” The response is murmured, and he purses his lips in thought for a brief moment before a small smile graces his features. “Ahaha… Yeah, you’re right, I won’t know if I don’t try! So I need to try… But…”
The smile that appeared slipped away in favor of a more thoughtful look, a hand resting upon his chin as he thinks before speaking up to finish his sentence.
“…I think… Well, I mean–she doesn’t have a collar, or anything, so she’s probably a stray… And if I take her home, shouldn’t I name her?”
As time ticked on within the conversation, the taller male decided it was his turn to kneel down besides the stranger he was speaking to. The smile which plastered over his lips continued to be rather apparent, Tonbokiri’s oculars rolling on over to have a better look at the cat which had herself quite busy.
Even while kneeling down, you could tell the difference in their heights… It was pretty interesting to take note of, but nothing which Tonbokiri would vocally point out. Instead, he kept shut.
Ah! Another question. Tonbokiri could feel his lashes hitting against one another rapidly as he attempted to swallow down a response. With a small nod, he turns his focus back to the other.
“Name her?” He pauses. “I suppose you are correct on that. Once you take her in, she’ll need a name to get used to. Do you have any ideas for names?”
