I challenged myself to do hikes that I would never have been able to do last year when I weighed so much more and was not on this journey to health. But working on weight loss, eating better and getting more physically fit has helped me do things that I always wanted to do. I went camping ⛺️ so check that off my bucket list✅. I hiked a difficult 5 mile hike to the ridge line to see the valley I came from and into the valley beyond✅✅. Thank you to my dear fried @mark_blackmon for the use of his father’s walking stick which literally saved me from falling a few times.💜💜💜 It’s a Magic Stick and I’m really not wanting to give it back lol 😂 although dang it—he knows where to find me 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks to my dear friends who although not on social media and don’t want to be mentioned took all the camping 🏕 gear and made these 3 days so memorable. I had an amazing time in spite of gale force 40 plus mph winds. There’s another area that we hiked and I’ll post that later. This was one of the most memorable times in my life.
