There’s a post going around that starts out like “sorry for Who-posting in 2019” and I just hate how fandom culture got to the point that liking things is Wrong and Bad, Doctor Who is a consistently good show that has had missteps in every era (including under Davies) and we shouldn’t act like people are dumb for enjoying it or that they need to apologize for even bringing it up, and that goes for every fandom everywhere. Just because some fans are crazy doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy the things they’re crazy about while still thinking they’re weird.

Same goes for Harry Potter. I saw a post the other day that went something like “sorry for being cringey and posting potter on main” and I’m honestly baffeled! So it’s cringey now to enjoy what has made you happy for years? Fuck that! I’ll post Harry Potter on main until the last book on earth gets eaten by the gigantic caterpillar overloards that are one day going to overtake us all and that’s that.
