I like to think that the ring Lockwood wears in the series is his father’s, and when he proposes to Lucy (with his mother’s ring), he just kinda moves the ring onto his left hand after they get married.

I just love that canonically, Lockwood is sentimental as hell. The guy’s given two necklaces to Lucy: the first being Jessica’s (I think?) and the second LITERALLY being a symbol of “undying devotion”.
